a person holding a box of pizza

Needed to grab a quick bite while visiting a relative. The line was long, but the wait time was minimal. The person taking my order seemed in a rush, but it was understandable. When I got to the window, the person didn't say hi. They were yelling orders to others. She didn't give me my receipt. The person preparing my food, just flung the bag out the window so close to my face. Don't even think she looked my way. I took the bag and they just walked away. What happened to common courtesy, people? On a good note, the food was good. Really need to work on the customer service.

Bojangles on Clemson Rd. needs to do better. Everyone is using inflation and the great resignation to justify substandard service. This chicken was hard enough to break a window, there were a total of 7 fries tossed carelessly into the box. The poor little bag for the fries was so covered in grease you could slide home on it...it was sitting on top of the chicken and fry (can't really say fries). Let's return to our former standards of service Bojangles. Especially since the prices are exorbitant.

45 minutes in line on a Friday at 11am. Ridiculous. There was a big line but it shouldn't take 45 minutes to get food. Ordered two sausage biscuits and two potato rounds. The biscuit was very salty and hard. The sausage was burnt and also dry. Stuck in your throat dry. If I was waiting that long, those should've been fresh. We could see our sandwiches sitting on the counter the 6 minutes we were waiting at the window. They also never gave us a receipt. The potato rounds were fresh and actually good. But there was 4 of them and I would've preferred smaller and more than the 4 bigger rounds. Second time ever having Bojangles and first time having their breakfast. Was horrible.

Awful service. It has been a few months since I've come here because they were so slow. Took the chance this morning, and ended up leaving the drive thru without my order after sitting and waiting without moving forward in line. Crew stands around doing nothing instead of pitching in to get work done. Finished with this spot.

$10 meal. Skimpy fries that they forgot to place in the bag then the clerk got mad when I asked for them.

Service is quick. Workers are pleasant. Chicken was fried in BURNT oil. Sounds like a managerial problem...

A bold claim, and yet they are one of a handful of restaurants in the South that could realistically make that claim. The brisket sandwiches are unbelievable, with your choice of the leaner, mixed, or fattier cuts. All are amazing and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Many delicious sauces to choose from as well. All of the sides are incredibly tasty, just how you'd like to see them prepared at the best backyard barbecue you've ever been to. My friends and I dined in, and there are only a couple tables in the small restaurant because they mainly do takeout/doordash orders, but we couldn't regret that less. Big Bull and Mama Bull each came out to check on us and chat with us at different times, and a server helped us as well. We had wonderful conversation. Because it is family-run and all made fresh by order, the wait can be a little longer than some places, but the food and care make the wait far more than worth it.

Competition Quality-meat came easily off the bone but didn't fall off the bone. I had 2 slices of brisket and we shared Hush Puppies and their Mac and Cheese. Driving up you see the smoke from the smoking pit and you know from the smell, you made a good choice. Nothing fancy here- inside eating is very casual. They do a high volume of to go orders. This is a family run business and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They seem very organized and gave a system in place for the pick up business that seemed to work well for them. The owners (I believe husband/wife) both came out and checked on us. We spoke for a little bit with each one. We felt welcomed and appreciated. OMG! I would've loved to share a slice of one of those triple layer cakes. Slices were extra generous but we were already taking home some brisket and Mac &Cheese. We will definitely come here again if we have to return for more tests

I had the falafel gyro with fries and a pomegranate soda. I will not have that again though I have searched some of my local markets for the pomegranate soda. Everything was dry and lacked flavor. While the falafel were piping hot, there was no flavor at all. There was just a sheer smear of hummus, one piece of iceberg lettuce and one tomato cut in half along with two or three cut falafel. No red onion or tzatziki sauce which is what made this so dry. The fries were hot though dry (not sure how that happens) and they had OLD BAY sprinkled on them when he asked if I wanted salt, not old bay. The service was prompt and quiet, no engagement which is typical for a bodega. The seating was standard and clean. I was just disappointed in the meal I chose.

I figured this must be a nice restaurant with sit down tables and decent lighting. However, after opening the door it basically looked like a fast food, order at the counter restaurant, with about 6 tables or so with around 6-7 small chairs around each table. There was one person waiting outside and inside there was one person sitting at a table eating. There was one person cooking and nobody to take orders. We stood there and watched him cook for about 3-4 minutes without him acknowledging our presence. Finally he finished cooking, wrapped it up and gave it to the guy waiting. He took our orders one by one and while he was taking the third order a guy came out to do the cooking. This was about 11:20AM. Three of us ordered Lamb Gyros with fries. We had one order for a hamburber, a chicken gyro with fries, two combination paninis and one other chicken sandwich. The three lamb gyros came out first. They were very tightly wrapped in a thin paper and then with aluminum foil. The lamb was good but getting the wrapping paper off was a mess. Very messy to eat (but hey, it's a gyro) but the taste was good. The chicken sandwich came out around 35 minutes after ordering. The hamburger was out at about 30 minutes. It didn't look like much and the bun was like something you'd buy off the shelf at Walmart or local grocery store...nothing special, just a normal ordinary hamburger bun. It was rated as a 2.0 by the guy that ordered it. The fries were good, again nothing special but there were quite a bit with the orders. We weren't very impressed with the restaurant as far as friendliness or ambiance. Our average overall rating for it was a 2.87 so we probably won't make this one of our favorites of the 179 restaurants we've eaten at in the Cola area.

I've been to Kiki's Chicken & Waffles on Parkland Road several times for breakfast and lunch,…read moreunfortunately, this most recent visit was disappointing--not only because of the food, but also because of the customer service. When a customer walks into your restaurant, they should be greeted and acknowledged. I stood there for a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me, and the first thing I was asked was whether I had placed an online order. The restaurant was not full at the time, so I found that experience disappointing. A simple "Welcome in, we'll be with you shortly" would have made a big difference. I ordered Kiki's Soul Food Plate with four chicken wings, string beans, sweet potato soufflé, and a muffin, along with a side of collard greens. The chicken wings were fried to a good consistency, but once I bit into them, the chicken was extremely dry--much drier than I expected. The string beans and collard greens were okay, but honestly, neither was anything special. The sweet potato soufflé was another surprise. When I took a bite, I tasted what seemed to be a clove, and I actually had to spit it out. That was definitely not what I expected when ordering sweet potato soufflé I am not a big fan of cloves. The muffin was probably the best part of the meal. It was hot, edible, and had more of a cake-like texture, which I actually enjoyed. I'm not someone who judges a restaurant based on one visit, especially since I've eaten at Kiki's several times before. But this particular visit just didn't live up to my previous experiences. The food and the service both missed the mark this time. I hope this was simply an off day because I would like to see Kiki's do better.

We stopped in for lunch and let me tell you... those collard greens are something special. Packed with flavor and the perfect side to make you feel like you're sitting at grandma's table. Now let's talk about the Chicken & Waffles -- hot, fresh, and made with love. The waffle had the most delicious vanilla flavor that reminded me of a funnel cake, with that perfect balance of fluffy inside and crispy edges. Paired with that crispy chicken, it was the kind of comfort food combo that just hits the spot. Come hungry because this is the kind of meal that reminds you why soul food has a way of bringing people together. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the AC was out that day and I can say it was pretty warm inside. But the service was great and our server was so sweet and a true trooper!
