It's been 10 years since I wrote the first review for this golf course…read more And it's been 10 years since I last played it and today was special because we were able to host the Strokes Fore Hop fundraiser for William 'Bam' Montgomery who is in need of a kidney. There were 72 golfers who joined on a beautiful sunny, 72 degree Friday on 11/12/21. Over $12K was raised to help with the medical bills and expenses for Bam. The course has matured and improved over the years. It is a challenging course with a fair amount of water and some greens protected by bunkers. There are some really nice Par 3's, hole number 6 which is right at about 115 yards from the Senior tees. I nearly won the 'closest to the pin' with a shot that put it right at about 10 feet to the pin. A pair of Panthers VS WFT tickets were the prize but, I was just edged out by a shot from Mr Shelly at 85 years old put it within 7 feet. The course is well maintained in great condition, the tee boxes are in great shape as are the greens. The fairways are wide open and most of greens are large and well maintained. They have a great bar & restaurant as well as a very nice out door patio. I highly recommend this course.

They consistently ran out of food and had a line out the door. It was very crowded. We sat outside on the patio in 100 degree weather without a fan. The table for our group of 8 was cramped and sagging in the middle (so much so that we spilled our food and tea). The waitress never once cleared the dirty plates from our table and we had to ask repeatedly for refills. My 7 year old was charged an adult price ($17) and she didn't eat much because everything ran out. However, due to the size of our party, gratuity was included. Overall, not a pleasant experience and we will not be returning.

They never spoke to me to ask me what exactly all the problems were with my pool. When I called to ask them when they would be out to look at my pool I was immediately patched over to a second person who very rudely told me that they had already been out they had taken pictures I have multiple breaks in my line and were very very extremely rude. when I asked why the lady was being so hateful toward me her response is because I asked the same question. I would learn how to fix my pull myself before I would ever use them.

I can still remember having the best time during college tubing down the river with friends, the proverbial cooler tied onto one of the guy's tubes. It was great way to spend a lazy, hot Saturday in the south. An added bonus was that it was free and it was rather fun waving at the people fishing on the shoreline or driving across the bridge. I think the area has opened up for more activies since my college years.
