This place is really fun and you get to watch people make stuff and stuff. The dog at the restaurant doesn't like me very much. It's name is Choco and it keeps poking my uncle in the but with its nose. All the ice cream flavors taste the same They taste like heavy whipping cream The shop is the best part because it has stuff in it I like it here but the activities aren't interactive, you just watch people make stuff.

Spicy mango pizza

This review is only for the restaurant, and not for the hotel portion. The menu is pretty lengthy so it's hard to decide! But as soon as I saw the words "spicy" and "mango," I knew what to get. We tried the spicy mango chicken and the spicy mango honey pizza. The chicken was good but a little bit inconvenient to eat without getting too messy. It wasn't exactly enough for family style so we treated it more like an appetizer and didn't bother with the rice and salad that it comes with. I preferred the pizza a lot more. It was a light and crispy crust but the sauce and cheese was a nice balance of sweet and spicy. We tried both the mango juice and mango shake, but the mango shake was the winner by far. Service was great and they catered our very large party with patience and ease. I regret not ordering their ice cream though, because I heard that's what they're known for. The ice cream window wasn't open when we came but we did have the option to order from our tables. Don't be like me and regret not trying it out!

Love the fact that they maintained the country charm AND good food. I like eating right by the mangrove area. The air is warm, comforting, and the view is breathless. Some people chastise the fact that there are no bees in this area. There WAS a time it did and due to changes in environment, typhoons, other natural disasters, and lack of the right elements to lure the bees back, the farm was unsuccessful. In general, bee population is at a decline and some continue to revive it even in a small scale. However, it doesn't take away the fact that this place still offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. I do hope that they continue to find ways to get the colonies back in order to help with the enrichment of the environment.

We went to the place today and definitely it's a five star place is gorgeous we got to see the store which is amazing everything is organic only thing I don't like is the food sample I felt it's unsafe where everyone is holding into it literally with their sweaty hands and the sample drink the fleas and dirty glass are mixed together I wish since they have so much staff the staff can control it at least have a tong to grab the food or a butter knife for the spread We end up eating at the restaurant and that's s how we tasted the products and end up buying At the restaurant server are very good and attentive definitely food are delicious Highly recommended

Friends from Bohol have recommended me to visit and try having at least one meal at Bohol Bee Farm. Fortunately father's friend lend us their car with his nephew as our driver who also suggested the bee farm. I have always been interested in raising my own bees and I can be their queen, oopss, anyways it was good 15 minutes away from where we are staying but we had a bigger transportation this time so we were okay. I love the place. It was my dream place. Did I mention that I really like the place? if not I really really like it.

A friend of mine stayed here for a couple of days & our tour guide recommended it - - so why not. We had lunch - - an organic salad with edible flowers. It was delightful. My wife had grilled fish which she enjoyed - - not as good as my salad though. Next stop was shopping. The have a wonderful gift shop where we bought homemade spreads, soaps, honey, & more. Good stuff. Next, off to the spa for a massage. I got a "Queen Bee" foot treatment: foot soak, scrub, and massage - - all for 700 pesos or about $14.00. My wife had a full body massage for 900 pesos or $18.00. She said it was one of the best massages ever!!! Our last stop - - Bohol Bee Farm ice cream, of course. Mango for me & avocado for her. Both were yummy. Enjoy.

Absolutely amazing! The staff, the views and the food! We had a group of 20+... seated immediately and food came out 15 minutes after ordering! The special drinks and cocktails were amazing! Everything was homemade and made in house!

Finally stayed the night, when previously I only visited their restaurant, twice. This review is for the night I stayed over: Bohol Bee Farm Resort is located in Dao, Panglao Island, Bohol. Tucked away from the road, if not for the signage, you'd be sure to pass it. Best to use an offline google map to guide you there. If you do spot the sign, then its an easy peasy, yet kinda narrow drive on the road to the resort. Once you arrive, the check-in area is a bit of a walk from the parking area. So if you have tons of luggage in tow, you might want to just check in first then ask for help. Otherwise, if you travel light as we did, sorta.. then you'll be okay! At first glance, you'll realize that they stay in theme throughout the property. "organic". There are some unfriendly slopes and steep steps around, so mind your footing. If you want to head down to the water, head pass the reception/lobby area. Then make your way down the steps, keep going past the lomboy restaurant, then head towards the right, and you'll run into 2 trees you can squeeze through or go around them to get to the descending path. Be careful,  it is a steep descent (no worries there is a hand rail to help you along) and unapolagetic ascent back up (maybe I'm just out of shape) after catching the view and snapping some photos. You can also check out their dive shop down there as well. Room: We opted to stay on the 2nd floor family room. We were 6 adults and 2 fur babies. Room had a nice view of the ocean. Ample space. Bathroom had a nice ambiance with picture windows all around. Beautiful. Water pressure was great, hot and cold. Only issue was that water would pool near the sink area because it couldnt make its way down the floor drain, but no biggie. Beds were comfy, room had a mini fridge and tv. Did I already say ample space? Yes indeed it was. Having stayed in numerous hotels in the States, you can say that this room was a good size considering the size of our group. Patio was great, I could picture myself having breakfast there. Awesome view! Check In: speedy. We were each given a separate piece of paper containing log in information for their wifi. She said, "1 log in for 1 device". Cool! Staff: Absolutely friendly and professional. Quick and approachable. Everyone always had a smile. Everyone was always eager to help. Bravo!!! Pool: I believe the bigger pool was heated, so if you decide to swim in the evening you are good to go. ** There is an area where a foul smell lingered in the air, somewhere by the restaurant near one of the red building structures, just be warned incase your in that area as you will get put off, especially before eating, when the stench bombards your nose. ** Dinner: Dinner was great, we had the chicken dumplings for the appetizer. I ordered the honey roasted chicken meal. They say everything is from their farm or a locally sourced farm. Delicious. The staff was also kind enough to sing a birthday cheer for our birthday celebrant in our group. Breakfast: Breakfast was served in the "Lomboy" restaurant/section, buffet style. Beautiful views of the sea and a lovely breeze danced around the dining area. They offered adobo, waffles, toast, scrambled eggs cooked with onions and tomatos, congee, juice, water, and some sort of chocolate coffee. I might be missing something else.. oh salad too. It isnt your typical breakfast. Lacked in variety. I ultimately ate eggs with toast and that carried me over to a late lunch. So it sufficed. They were also kind enough to allow me to bring some adobo left over pieces for the dogs we brought along. I absolutely love the fact that this resort is pet-friendly. Love it, Love it!! Pets are treated like any human guest. Fabulous! We had a chihuahua mix and shih tzu mix with us, and they had a glam of a time! Overall: I would and have been back to this place, probably twice before. This visit, however, was my first overnight stay. I would definitely return again. Love that its quiet and peaceful. Dig the staff, so nice and accommodating! I dialed for new towels and they brought it up quick, fast, and in a hurry. Awesome! It is a "themed" resort to the extend that, for some, may mistaken it as run down. Its what gives the resort its charm, a taste of a different kind of life without completely leaving the modern world behind. My experience staying the night at this resort was great. Free Wifi, Free parking, PET-FRIENDLY, Quiet, and I like their UNtypical flavors of ice cream.

Fun little spot to stop and eat on your way back from exploring Bohol. The food was ok but the atmosphere was pretty great! Grab some ice cream while you are here!! It was excellent.

We tried their malungay ice cream, mango, dragon fruit, ube and chocolate. They were all delicious!!! Their cone was unique as well, I forgot what it was made of though. I liked the carrot and blueberry with calamansi flavor muffins I bought. I also bought their organic tea in boxes. Don't buy the mango, can't taste it at all. We loved their stuff so much we made sure to stop by before the airport.

Bohol Bee Farm was like a bunch of little businesses in one. We went there to eat at the restaurant and I didn't realize there was a higher part of the restaurant and one lower near the water. When we got to the restaurant, we just followed the walkway in and were seated. It has a nice outdoor ocean view (covered so you had shade) and there were people in the water below snorkeling.. The food is organic. I haven't heard that the whole time I was in the Philippines so it was a rare find to me. A complimentary plate of their squash bread, cassava chips, and dips were brought to the table. The server knew what was in each to help figure out what was vegan and not. A lot of menu items sounded so good.. (Cocktails, too). I chose the Spicy Kinilaw. Kinilaw is Filipino Ceviche but this was all veggies, mainly eggplant and they served it with organic red rice. So good. I wished the food was like this where we were staying.. A group of the staff was just hanging out and talking amongst themselves and that's a little annoying when you have empty plates on your table. Ants were on the table as well but you can't really help that outside. But, just in case that bothers you.. know it.

Amazingly fresh marlin with the best yellow mango and ginger shake

Great food, divine views, incredible massages - what more do you want?! Head to the restaurant and drink in the view of miles and miles of ocean. This is one of those places where you don't sit down for a full ten minutes after arriving as you need to take photos and drink in the view before you can even contemplate eating. The menu is extensive and full of healthy, organic treats including super fresh fish, glorious salads and plates perfect for sharing. Serves are huge so go easy - you'll want to leave room for the famous coconut milk based ice cream. But make sure you grab a fruit shake, the fresh mango and ginger was so yummy! If you've time, try one of their Philippino massages with fresh ginger - with waves splashing below and a fragrant concoction of warm oils on your skin you'll have trouble staying awake.

We spend our honeymoon week at Bohol Bee Farm and it was amazing!! The Staff was wonderful, very kind and helpful. The room was kept clean and well supplied. It has an amazing view of the ocean where they have their restaurant. Massage was relaxing and overlooking the ocean as well, you can relax to the sound of the waves. Scuba Diving, Kayaks, Paddle Board are available down stairs at the dive shop so it's very convinient. But most of all....the Food was amazing!!! Everything is organic, made fresh, and grown at the bee farm. We had all different flavors of ice cream and halo halo everyday. Arts and crafts were all handmade. We had such a wonderful experience and when we come back again, we are definitely staying there again!

Pandan ice cream on cassava cone!!! This one we got at the location on Alona Beach near our hotel, Hennan.

In favt, they have close to 20 massage clinics scattered all over the city. I opted to try Grand Royale Spa because I'm a big fan of their clinic in Cebu (near Capitol). The location is a bit difficult to find since the signage is small and is way up the top of the building. Just look for Qualfon's building and it's just across. It's on the 3rd floor, on top of a coffee in the same building. When you step inside, you'll be welcomed by a rather dark but tastefully decorated reception area. The clinic is decidedly Asian-inspired with huge portrait of a Buddha (or atleast that's what I think that was). There's also a small fountain/pond area just below the Buddha. The receptionist is very friendly. She even gave me a discouny because I went in just before the promo ended. I paid php278.00 instead of php320.00 I was ushered into a smallish room with a massage table. They do have an undergarment/shorts you can change into before the massage starts. They even have a wash basin you can soak your feet into. The masseur I got was very good. Too good. I think he was too eager to get rid of all my "lamig". Overall, I'm very satisfied with the massage and I will definitely be back once I'm in Dumaguete again.

Grand Royal Spa Bacolod lives up to the Grand Royal Spa brand. The massage service was everything I…read moreexpected and more. Whenever I need a massage, Grand Royal Spa has always been my first choice. Luckily, they have branches in cities I've visited such as Cebu, Dumaguete, and Iloilo. I actually found out about their branch in Bacolod when I saw their signage from across Lopue's East. I told myself I'd give them a go next time and I finally had that opportunity earlier. The spa had that distinct Grand Royal Spa look. The lobby which doubled as the reception area was spacious. There were a few couches you can lounge on while waiting for your name to be called. Magazines are also readily available from the small coffee tables should you wish to read up while waiting too - the magazines are old though. You won't have any problem keeping your privacy because the massage area is huge! The massage table was soft and smelled of clean linen. What I really love was their therapists. They all look competent and always had on a big smile. I felt good seeing the therapist looked happy because I know I will get a good massage and i was right. The therapist went on to give me a superb rub down. I came in feeling weak and tired from work and went out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Grand Royal Spa Bacolod offers a variety of spa services but if it's massage you want, it's just php320/hour. It's more expensive than the massage places I've been to in Bacolod but it was all worth it. I highly recommend that you try out Grand Royal Spa Bacolod because you'll be glad you did.
