The staff and veterinarians always allow me to be involved in my dogs' care; whether that means letting me handle my own dogs during exams, talking through treatment plans in detail, or supporting my decision to consult a specialist when needed. I never feel dismissed or rushed, and I genuinely feel respected and valued, which means so much as a dedicated dog owner. They are also incredibly patient and supportive when it comes to all of the health testing I do with my dogs. From jumping through the extra hoops to get my SV X-rays submitted, to helping coordinate and complete other required health testing, they have always been wonderful and accommodating. It makes a huge difference to have a clinic that understands and supports the extra steps that come with responsible breeding and competitive dog sports. Kept asking her why she hasn't done certain things, and my wife kept telling her that we had him on a puppy plan at East Central and they took care of everything for us. Then they told us our dog needed antibiotics, and diet changes to counter his weight gain, and sluggish behavior. We were so unhappy with how my wife was treated we went to East Central for another opinion, and they tested our dog for low Thyroid. Wouldn't you know it, 30$ of thyroid meds and he's slimmed down, has tons of energy and his coat is shinier and softer. Would never go back to Osceola Vet.

Had their Covid system firmly in place. They took great care in treating him. They called me to follow up. I was still unsure he was "out of the woods",so I called and they immediately made room in their schedule to accommodate another visit for another urine sample and testing. They have always been very thorough when explaining any issues my pets are having, and staying after hours to care for them when needed. They have always been very accommodating which is rare these days. I have referred many friends who have all had great things to say after their visits. Having large breed dogs can be pretty expensive, and I have also found their prices to be very reasonable compared to a lot of other clinics I hear about in some of my dog groups. My dog Benji had a BLAST at both daycare and boarding over a weekend at K9-Playtime!! He's very…read moreattached to me, has separation anxiety, and is generally scared of other people (we've been working on that for years now but it's slow going). However, he ADORES other dogs, and his favorite thing in the whole world is being around them and playing with them. It's hard to travel with Benji and he'd struggle if I left him with a dogsitter, so when I had to leave for a weekend recently I decided to try boarding him. Since K9-Playtime includes daycare (a full day of socializing and playing with the other dogs) in their boarding package, they definitely seemed like the best option for Benji, but I was still nervous about how he'd do. The staff at K9-Playtime were super communicative, helpful, and lovely! They asked lots of great questions about Benji's behaviors in different situations to see if daycare and boarding would work for him. I brought him in for a couple partial days of daycare to test things out, and the staff were awesome with Benji and he loved it there! They said he was great with all the dogs and staff members and gave him the OK for boarding. The whole weekend I was waiting for a call saying that he was anxious and needed to be picked up early, but I was so surprised and relieved that Benji spent the whole weekend at K9-Playtime with no issues and actually had a really fun time!! He was happy and exhausted from playing when I picked him up, and honestly seemed sad to leave all his new friends! He just played with the other dogs all day long while he was there, with breaks for meals and snacks, and by bedtime he was too worn out to be anxious (or conscious lmao). They posted a picture on their social media that includes him, and he just has the biggest goofiest grin on his face as he's running around with the other dogs! I definitely recommend checking out K9-Playtime if your dog is anything like mine! It's so nice to have them as an option for Benji if I need to work a long day or travel. They allow unaltered pets and judge based on their personality and ability to play well with others. Which our dog does really well. He's a lover. We do have days once or twice a week and he's worn out. Definitely gets a full four hours of play in. Super friendly and honest staff. Our pup gets lots of love there and exercise. He's one happy pup.
