Working from home during the pandemic (and all the associated screen time) has taken a toll on my body. I found Dominic's listing online and was drawn to his description of his approach to the work. When we met, Dominic was deliberate in understanding my specific needs and concerns. He tailored the massage to address my neck tension and lower back pain. I felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout the session, and Dominic's skills exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a professional, high-quality massage experience. read more

Dominic is an amazingly talented masseuse with an innate understanding of the interplay among muscles, joints, ligaments, and tendons. He clearly takes on massage as both an art and a science, which results in any of his customers winning out. His initial discussion with me focused on assessment and preparation- identifying past injuries/issues and exchanging awareness of how communication throughout could maximize the impact of the massage. The result was just-- wow! Through 90 minutes of his work he was able to achieve outcomes that I had only previously experienced with massage therapists directly connected to PT and chiropractic offices. Beyond natural talents with massage, he deeply understands the idea of creating a safe and relaxing environment. From a playlist of soulful music to the aromatherapeutic atmosphere, Dominic's create of a sacred space was the perfect antidote after a fourteen hour work day. Add to that his ability to soothe with conversation that mixed humor, kindness, and sparkling intellect. It was a truly energizing experience. After just one session, I literally can't wait to book another session with him based on the impact of the first visit. Whether it's a treat for yourself to find deep relaxation or a need for talented therapeutic services, Bodywork by Dominic is the place to go. read more

I just got back to my apartment after this terrible ordeal and I decided to write a review (something I actually never do). I am a former massage therapist from the Washington DC area who recently moved here to pursue a new career. I've been experiencing severe back pain and it was recommended by my chiro that I see both an acupuncturist and a massage therapist. I found Dominic's ad and he seemed totally legit and very skilled (there a lot of masseurs you can find that will just say they have a license and have skills but obviously have none). Wow, was I wrong about Dominic, I thought I was going to be using his services a lot since he lives close to me. Dominic would not see me. He perceived my text messages as, I guess, rude (I asked if it was OK if I came 10 minutes early to the appointment)...he abruptly said no (he knew it was freezing and raining outside with nowhere to wait). So I waited outside for almost 10-minutes (again in the freezing rain) and then I texted him asking if there was an apartment number. That really made him mad (I guess he thought I was coming early after all, which I wasn't). So bottom line is he texted saying that he's canceling the appointment. Dominic made an assumption (I seriously can't figure out why) that I was not a real customer. I don't even know what that means but I guess that's me! All I can say is I have never had an experience like this, and I would never treat one of my massage clients this way. I absolutely question his integrity and have no doubt that he hates doing massage therapy; he clearly wishes he were doing something else. Stay away from this guy! read more

I really enjoyed my session with Dominic. He is very professional and knowledgeable. Like everyone else Covid is a concern and he demonstrated all the safety guideline he listed in his ad. I had a 90 min massage and he really did target all the areas I was struggling with. Working from home I don't move enough and find all my tension in my neck and back. I recommend his services if you are looking for a legit massage read more

Marlon's Spa Services is a breath of fresh air in Woodside, Queens. The massage was firm, consistent, precise and personable. Dominick was warm yet uber professional and made it a point to focus on my problem areas. As a runner I appreciated that he was willing to tailor the session to address my specific needs. To top it off, his eclectic taste in jazz/world music added a special element of fun and relaxation, creating the perfect spa ambiance that you pay an arm and a leg for elsewhere. I was hesitant at first as I've always received massage in brand name spas in Manhattan. Boy, was I wrong. This massage surpassed many of the 'renowned' establishments in Chelsea in so many ways: affordability, level of service and quality of work. I highly recommend Marlon's services for a heavenly respite from the city's daily grind. read more

I hate massages. I find myself tensing up and being unable to relax when a relative stranger is rubbing me down. I injured my shoulder at the gym and found Dominic and decided to give it a go. He was instantly able to put me at ease, the entire time I was relaxed and I had full motion in my shoulder in just an hour. I didn't think it possible, but it was a very relaxing and invigorating experience! His obvious skill and talent match well with his at ease demeanor. I'm hooked now and intend to go back for the knots I get in my shoulders. 5 stars for this guy, highly recommend. Very professional! read more

I had been looking for a professional massage for a while now but never followed through until I saw the ad for Dominic. I booked a 90 minute massage for my first time. THIS WAS THE BEST 90 MINUTES. He was very professional, very patient, and really know what he's doing. I was very nervous when I got there but he had me so relaxed in about 5 minutes. His techniques really relaxes you and wakes your body up. He stretched my back and I haven't had any aches or sore back muscles since. I would gladly book another session with him. In fact I'm going to do that now. I highly recommend his services, read more

My first session with Dominic was exceptional. He took time to focus on specific problem areas, and his demeanor and technique always made me feel at ease. Over the years I have had a lot of massages from both Men and Women, Gay, Straight and everything in between, it was awesome that I found Marlon Today. I booked a last minute massage as I was having some severe pain in my neck and shoulder area and I was fortunate that Marlon was able to accommodate me, though I do recommend booking in advance. Not only was he attentive, had strong hands and was a great intuitive massage therapist he was wonderful to talk with both before and after. I would highly recommend him as he uses a wide array of techniques including some stretches that completely opened up my neck and lower back. Additionally, though this should never matter when booking with a serious massage therapist but he was incredibly attractive both to look at and even more so when he speaks. I highly recommend him for a true therapeutic legit massage at a really great value. read more
