I just got back to my apartment after this terrible ordeal and I decided to write a review (something I actually never do). I am a former massage therapist from the Washington DC area who recently moved here to pursue a new career. I've been experiencing severe back pain and it was recommended by my chiro that I see both an acupuncturist and a massage therapist. I found Dominic's ad and he seemed totally legit and very skilled (there a lot of masseurs you can find that will just say they have a license and have skills but obviously have none). Wow, was I wrong about Dominic, I thought I was going to be using his services a lot since he lives close to me. Dominic would not see me. He perceived my text messages as, I guess, rude (I asked if it was OK if I came 10 minutes early to the appointment)...he abruptly said no (he knew it was freezing and raining outside with nowhere to wait). So I waited outside for almost 10-minutes (again in the freezing rain) and then I texted him asking if there was an apartment number. That really made him mad (I guess he thought I was coming early after all, which I wasn't). So bottom line is he texted saying that he's canceling the appointment. Dominic made an assumption (I seriously can't figure out why) that I was not a real customer. I don't even know what that means but I guess that's me! All I can say is I have never had an experience like this, and I would never treat one of my massage clients this way. I absolutely question his integrity and have no doubt that he hates doing massage therapy; he clearly wishes he were doing something else. Stay away from this guy! read more

I hate massages. I find myself tensing up and being unable to relax when a relative stranger is rubbing me down. I injured my shoulder at the gym and found Dominic and decided to give it a go. He was instantly able to put me at ease, the entire time I was relaxed and I had full motion in my shoulder in just an hour. I had been looking for a professional massage for a while now but never followed through until I saw the ad for Dominic. I booked a 90 minute massage for my first time. THIS WAS THE BEST 90 MINUTES. Over the years I have had a lot of massages from both Men and Women, Gay, Straight and everything in between, it was awesome that I found Marlon Today. I booked a last minute massage as I was having some severe pain in my neck and shoulder area and I was fortunate that Marlon was able to accommodate me, though I do recommend booking in advance. Not only was he attentive, had strong hands and was a great intuitive massage therapist he was wonderful to talk with both before and after. I would highly recommend him as he uses a wide array of techniques including some stretches that completely opened up my neck and lower back. Additionally, though this should never matter when booking with a serious massage therapist but he was incredibly attractive both to look at and even more so when he speaks.
