This was my first time at BodyWise Massage. It was very clean and soothing. My masseuse , Ashley, was there to greet me when I walked in. She took time to find out my needs and concerns before she started. She gave the perfect massage- not too hard or soft. I came out feeling so relaxed and at peace. I highly recommend Ashley the next time you are looking for a wonderful spa experience ! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Erin D.

Health and wellness have been part of my life since I was very young. I have always been interested in a whole-health approach and I believe that massage can be a great tool to healthy living. I have been a massage therapist since 2008 and love my job. I have, since, opened my own practice and have brought more massage therapists in to expand the practice. I believe that each therapist and their approach is unique and different. The diversity in our staff means that we can help a wider range of people. We love to help people feel better; physically, mentally and emotionally. Massage is a great way to do that.

The massage was very weak and short. My toes look good, but my heals are even more rough. I asked for a little design on the big toes, which is nice. When we checked out I was charged $80. If I wanted to pay with a card there was a 4 or 5 % additional charge- even for debit card. Retailers are not supposed to charge extra for debit. We went to this salon because it was rated high on Yelp. I do NOT recommend this salon at all.

I came here with my stepdaughter because she wanted her nails done for the school dance and I had a…read moregift certificate for a pedicure plus it was conveniently located in Byron. My pedicure was very relaxing and she did a wonderful job HOWEVER my stepdaughters nails were horrible. She started crying when we got to the car. I paid $80 and they looked like an 'at home' job and was not at all what she asked for. She showed a picture to the nail tech and was very disappointed with the final product. Her nails were all different lengths, not the shape or color she asked for and the top of her nails were not sanded properly so they were very thick and wavey. We went back in and asked for her to shape them a little better and smooth down the top and make them the same length. The nail tech said that because they put the top coat on she was unable to smooth them down or make them the same length. She offered to take the nails off and refund the money instead of fixing them. We got home and looked up their Facebook and realized that even the pictures they advertised are equality as bad. But Noone has put a negative review. I want it to be known that when getting your nails done, your cuticles should not bleed the top of the nail should be sanded to an even smooth finish and the nails should all be the same length and shape. The pictures are of my daughter's nails, the nails she wanted and another picture of an advertisement on their FB page

I have been to Body Wise massage many times. I've had massages from both Erin and Ashley. They are both wonderful masseuses and are both very personable and professional. My wife and I have both gotten massages from Erin at BodyWise and had great experiences. She can can give a therapeutic deep tissue massage, or a gentle relaxation massage. Whatever you choose, Erin has a knack for finding the knots and tight spots. I highly recommend her service! read more
