I have been going to this body renew since September of 19. Its a five minute drive from the house. We signed up on the $10 a month deal with no time restrictions. It's always really clean, they occasionally run out of wipes but are good about having paper towels and Disinfectant to wipes down machines. They have plenty of different weight machines for legs, arms, abs, whole body, etc. down stairs then they have free weights, punching bags, Bosu ball and other items to use upstairs. Along with plenty of treadmills (22) , Eli pixels, stair climbers, stationary bikes, you name it. Unlike the previous gym I went to only had 8 treadmills I never have to worry about not getting on during peak times like 4-6. During COVID when they shut down for three months they had plenty of options on what to do with your membership. If I canceled I would loose my $10 a month. Some people that had really old plans, that were really good were cancelling and they can't get that back! I offered to keep paying my monthly due since they were still paying their employees and I got the yearly fee of $39 waved when it comes up in November. So win win for me and then. They also have personal trainers which you get one free session when you start but they sell it hard to you after that. Minus one star for really crappy WiFi. The music is also loud but most people have their own buds. There is childcare available(not post COVID yet) don't know what it costs. The changing rooms are nice, saunas available, lockers if you have your own lock or cubbies to put a coat by the entrance during winter. Overall I enjoy going here

Great gym! Been going there for almost 10 years. Friendly staff, lots of equipment. Locker rooms are to small but they can be made to work.

The workout space itself, has great ventilation, cool lighting and sound, firm bags, weights, and benches. Behind you, is a beautiful portrait mural. In front of you, is a large mirror, the instructor platform, and high-tech screens to further understand the current rounds' movements. You will get an amazing group fitness workout at Rumble Anchorage and you'll feel it the next day. The workout consists of 10 rounds for a total of 45min. You are doing boxing, HIIT, and strength training moving from the bags, to the floor, a few times during each class. "Buns of Steele" is definitely Rumbles' star instructor. She comes off the instructor platform numerous times throughout the workout, to be on your level. She is welcoming and kind. She will demonstrate for you at different angles, while also encouraging you. I appreciated being able to use a $25 BOGO deal to try Rumble Boxing Anchorage, at an affordable price. I appreciate that Rumbles' online calendar allows you to book your class(es), week(s) in advance. Okay, so...I understand Rumble Boxing Anchorage is still fairly new, here are a few areas for improvement. Memberships displayed at the front desk of Rumble boxing (see picture), are not reflected on the website. I was told I could ask, to be sent a code. Memberships for Rumble are pricey. Online, you can buy the BOGO (new members only), an unlimited membership (think - Alaska Club), or the $25/per class drop-in fee. There is a "Rumble Bundle bag," that includes the items you need for class. Apparently the bundle is the enrollment fee. It's my understanding that some were able to pre-order the bundle prior to Rumbles grand opening. These bundles weren't offered for sale at the grand opening. They weren't offered for sale today. They are not offered for sale online. I believe they may only come after getting a membership. I recommend asking about the bundle. When it comes to the hand wraps - the cheaper of the two is $9 the pricier ones are $25. You also need to buy boxing gloves or rent them. I just found out about the gloves today, because during the grand opening, we were only asked to pay for the wraps. Since I have a card on file, I wasn't told how much I was going to be charged for the glove rental today. Seeing my receipt later in the day, glove rentals are $3. Since you buy and book online, I was not happy to come in today and see that the staff moved everyone because it was a smaller class. I secured F21 / B21 online, because it's in the back of the studio where I feel most comfortable. I wanted to let it go, because my spot was given to a girl chunkier than I, and I'm glad SHE was made to feel comfortable. However, as an introvert, I was caught off guard and it took a lot to get over "being on display," and focus on doing my best during the workout. Rumble has a great space and their BOGO deal is the best. Rumble will give you a sweaty full-body workout. I'd like to see the front desk staff be more knowledgeable (able to explain financials/bundles) and be considerate of bookings. With the way the space is setup, I understand it gets loud and crowded by the front desk, and maybe this isn't possible every time. It would be helpful if details and other important info were online or in emails prior to class(es). Lastly, I hope to see more package options that don't require a commitment.

Completed my 460th class today. Amazing & invigorating workout with terrific motivating trainers.read more

I thought I would update my review to reflect her positive customer service and although I would have loved to use the package she made it right. I purchased a class package last year after having a baby and having had a lot of Pilates experience I was really disappointed to find that I couldn't attend certain classes unless I had attended their basic classes first. Normally that wouldn't have been an issue but they only offered those classes at a certain time of day and it was only offered one day a week and I was not able to attend. When covid 19 hit they obviously closed but now they are requiring customers buy and bring their own equipment. I wish I wouldn't have bought a package with this studio as now I have spent $200+ on classes I will never use.

The free intro class on Saturdays is a great and easy way to get introduced to everything about pilates and Studio One. I'm totally a fan of pilates now. I wasn't even looking to lose weight or inches, but I grew 1/2 an inch and lost several inches off my waist in less than a month. There's lots of classes to choose from and they regularly have special classes and special deals and discounts. So come on down and check out Studio One. You won't regret it.

Other gyms for this cost or less have saunas, tanning, pools, yoga studios, classes, etc. Not here. The two newest staff members are very unpleasant with one of the girls going as far as chasing you down anytime shes away from the desk when you scan in and practically accusing you of not being a member. On top of that the same girl has a habit of putting things away before anyone is finished, I've seen her do this to the point someone will eventually yell at her. Any time you step away to grab water, go to the bathroom, or even just walk around in between sets she immediately cleans up after you even if it's obvious you're not done. She also seems to think everyone should workout in 100% silence so if the weights ever make any noise or if someone makes even a quiet grunt she'll tell the manager who then calls you to say there's been noise complaints about you (which is funny because whenever I've gone there's either people that are much louder or there's not a single person in the building so I'd love to know where the complaints are from). It's really not worth the price.
