I would meet with one injector that I ended up loving, but come my next appointment they wouldn't be there anymore. This happened again another time, where I liked the injector and we connected well, but again, when I would schedule my next appointment a few months down the road that person was no longer there. Otherwise a lot of the time I had newbies injecting me. The inconsistency is what made me not want to go back, because I think it's important that you find one person that you trust with injecting you that you can always go back to.

It had gotten pretty bad, so I thought a good, deep clean facial would help with the healing process. It's been a long time since I've had a facial. I used to get them quite frequently when I was experiencing a bad acne stage in my mid-20s. I must say that my experience with Kathy went far beyond my expectations! She made me feel comfortable when I walked in. The salon is easy to find, located right off PCH in Newport Beach, in a small strip mall with ample parking. The treatment room was quiet, relaxing and calming - it felt like you were in one of the bigger day spa places. The signature facial with the glycolic peel was the treatment I ended up getting. It included a cleansing, massage, exfoliation and extractions. Included was a mini massage too (hand, arm, neck & shoulder) which was so relaxing. I want to make sure to add that the extractions were painless - Kathy has magic fingers! My last few facial extractions were so painful, I ended up tearing up. Nothing close to that happened with Kathy. I was pleasantly surprised! After the treatment, Kathy gave me a few care tips and a recommendation on moisturizer. I was glad for the tips and recommendation because I have sensitive /acne-prone skin and am always looking for chemical-free products that will be beneficial to my skin type. No pressure to purchase though - which in other places the estheticians practically force you to purchase things. My skin has never felt better!! And just from the first treatment, I noticed that the texture of my skin had improved and the acne patch I had all over my chin looked a little less inflamed.
