So where do I begin?…read more Before I would get my first tattoo I shopped tattoo shops. I did my homework! Make sure you do yours too! I had my first tattoo done at American Made by Jen. She was awesome! She also did my second one! I have quite a few tattoos. Not all of my ink came from American Made or the American Art Studio. Let me tell you it was a mistake with some of my tattoos getting them done elsewhere because they are nothing compared to work from Kyle and all the artists at American Art and American Made!!!!!! There are so many things to check out before you get down in a chair and let someone give you a tattoo. All of which you can do at this shop! What I did....I watched the artist tattoo on other people.......talk to them.....ask for a tour of the shop.....most won't even make you ask. I didn't have to ask here I was shown where everything was my first time there!!!!! Some shops won't show you anything and that usually means they have stuff to hide! You won't find that bullshit here! If you act like a bitch then you deserve to be treated like one! Don't walk into a shop like your the damn owner and the artist owe you something. So let me tell you this...... American Made and American Art Studio put out amazing work. They stand behind it! You get what you pay for! This shop is worth every damn penny! Kyle is the best out here in my opinion! My work has held up and flawless! When Kyle tattoos on me if he sees something that doesn't look right he will fix it. He won't leave your work looking half assed! All of his artists do really good work! I have never been treated wrong! I have never been turned away! I have never been overcharged! Not a single tattoo had issues healing! Kyle as well as the rest will sit as long as you can sit! (He won't make you keep comin back for the same piece) make a damn appointment! I proudly show my work off! I refer every person who asks about my tattoos to the shop! I am covered in tattoos and pretty sure I know what I'm talking about when it comes to an awesome ass shop! American Art Studio is AMAZING! The atmosphere makes you feel at home....if you wanna be quiet you can.....if you wanna talk to the artist you can! I can't leave out that this shop has amazing art all over it to stare at! Kyle cares about his work and his two shops! You won't get screwed going here! She was immediately responsive and kind. I'd never had a tattoo before so had no idea what I was going into but Jay'e made me feel comfortable, walked me through it and answered all my newbie questions with incredible patience. Jay'e reached out the day before my appointment to let me know she was feeling under the weather and wanted to play it by ear as she wanted to do the tatto but also didn't want to get me sick. She had a back up plan at the ready though and when the day came and Jay'e was still not feeling well, in stepped Mara Vlasic! Mara was so great! incredibly professional and an incredicle artist. She walked me through what she thought regarding picking out the colors and the size of the tattoo and made sure placement of the stencil was perfect before getting started. She nailed it!
