Well this placed popped up out of no where and ever since it has been getting 'rave' reviews. Thinking now, I do not think that I have been to a place quite like it. What a place to feel healthy as well as pampered. You leave a new you! They offer therapy treatments for men and women to make YOU feel better but also they cater for specific health issues. They also offer workshops, seminars, and classes on many health subjects. It really is educational too. Ok, so because I am addicted to this place, I will give you a recommendation. Reiki is a healing therapy. it is relaxing and comfortable. It takes an hour but it goes really quick and you feel a million dollars. I can hear a million voices saying 'Yes Please!' Body & Mind Therapy Centre provides natural treatments for injury rehabilitation, stress management, relaxation and emotional health. Therapies include massage, sports therapy, counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, life coaching, aromatherapy, reflexology, reiki, thermal stone massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage and Indian head massage. The majority of our clients initially visit us looking for help with a specific health issue and we see equal numbers of men and women. The most common reasons are back pain, muscular problems and symptoms closely associated with stress (digestive problems, headaches, tension and insomnia). We are in Tameside, just 10 miles from Manchester and close to Cheshire, Saddleworth and Derbyshire borders and just 10 minutes from the Ashton under Lyne exit of the M60.

The Body & Mind Therapy Centre was started in 2000 and has been providing quality complimentary therapies to Tameside and the surrounding areas since then. We are now located in the heart of Top Mossley, in a purpose designed therapy centre with 7 treatment rooms and a team of experienced therapists.

Meet the Business Owner: Hazel S.

I have always had a keen interest in natural therapies and started my journey in 1992 with Reiki, completing my Reiki Masters in 2001. I am interested in bodywork therapies and particularly the effectiveness of touch in helping to create physiological change. After completing the 3 year shiatsu practitioner's diploma course with the Shiatsu School Manchester in 1995-98, I then continued my studies with the Shiatsu College Post Graduate Course 2000-01. I now manage the centre on a full time basis and although I no longer work with clients, I still love to receive regular treatments!
