Dr. Bodnar was excellent in every way, addressing my concerns, diagnosing and treating my ailments, and doing it all with a strong sense of professionalism and compassion. HIGHLY recommend! read more

Bodnar is fantastic! I've been going for many years. Several times I've been in severe Paine with back or neck issues and I was totally "fixed" after sometimes one session or a few close together. They offer massage and other holistic serves. Nice office. Friendly staff. read more

Dr Yi is not only a great chiropractor, she is an empathetic person who seems to care about all her patients. I've been going here for years, and all of the staff are warm and friendly. They are always on time for appointments. They just moved into a new beautiful office as well. Definitely the best chiropractors office I've been to. read more

The doctors in this practice are first rate. I love getting adjustments here. The women who are at the front desk are phoning it in. They take your payment and tell you where to sit. If your appointment is delayed they don't tell you anything. And they aren't friendly. I am hoping this is changed. These ladies need training in working with the public. read more

Run, don't walk, to Bodnar Chiropractor Center. (No, I am not being paid for this review.) I think they've been serving Alexandria and the Northern VA area for quite a few years, but they're now in a beautiful new space with lovely, relaxing office spaces. Dr. Yi took her time asking me several questions during my initial intake. I never felt rushed. I felt she truly cared about me and my medical history. She spent a lot of time adjusting me, while also incorporating state-of-the-art chiropractic adjustment tools. I never got that icky feeling like a lot of chiropractor's exude, which is "you'll need to come back many times over several months to see any improvement." I felt like a person, not an open wallet. I also felt their prices were very reasonable. This business checked off all the right boxes. I've been a small business owner in Northern VA for 30+ years so am all about customer service and quality delivery. I feel Bodnar Chiropractic Center mirrors those same ethics. You deserve to feel your best and be treated with care. I feel you will receive all that and more at Bodnar. Wish I could give more than five stars : ) read more

Dr. Yi is awesome! I am a tennis player and had some knee discomfort. Dr. Yi diagnosed my misaligned hips that if not treated would have put me at risk for serious knee injury. After being treated by her, I immediately felt relief and am on target for a fun competitive tennis season in College. I can't thank her enough for her knowledge, expertise and awesome personality! read more

I had an acupuncture appointment with Lisa. She was professional, knowledgeable, and lovely. I'll be back. Thank you! read more

I have been going to Bodnar for several years and have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Yi and the office staff. Dr. Yi provides outstanding care and keeps me pain free with monthly adjustments. She really listens to your symptoms and skillfully adjusts where needed. I highly recommend her! The office staff are very friendly, responsive and professional. read more

I have had lots of experience with acupuncture. A couple of clinics. sadly far away in BAltimore, have been highly effective, and some not at all. Lisa, the acupuncturist at Bodnar, is excellent. So long as I live nearby, she will be my clinician. A few weeks ago, I woke up with a back and leg pain I've never experienced before. It was probably sciatica. Realizing it wouldn't go away by itself, I made an appointment at Bodnar. Walking in, I was welcomed by the politest, most efficient receptionist you could hope to meet. But that is only the beginning. With two appointments, Lisa had relieved the back pain. She the started tackling other areas of pain. Because of arthritis, I live with pretty constant pain. Some medicines such as Voltaren help, but with acupuncturist Lisa, I can foresee the pain dwindling away to nothing. read more

Because my back tends to get out of alignment quickly, I have been going to Dr. Bodnar since shortly after he opened his practice in the 90's. He is a wonderful doctor who treats the whole person, including having supplements, pillows that support the neck and spine, and TENS machines to deal with the entire body. He is also very calm, relaxed, friendly and takes his time which encourages patients to tell him what parts of the body are painful and what actions cause pain or restrict mobility. His staff is great also. They are always very pleasant and are expert at handling insurance issues. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hansen and the level of care I've received as his patient. He remembers EVERYTHING, and from visit to visit, there's been a continuum of care, starting with fixing some weakness in my legs to treating and offering "homework" exercises for my upper back pain, to helping find relief for a tailbone injury, to helping me to eliminate lower back issues, and finally to the current addressing of my TMJ-induced pain and tightness. I feel like I get a much needed tune up every time I go in because he truly hears what I'm saying and cares about helping to find resolutions for my issues. Newer to the area, I stumbled upon Bodnar Chiropractic not knowing anything about the practice or what doctor I would see. What a very lucky stumble! The staff is warm and welcoming and my doctor is top-notch. read more

From Reception Desk to Chiropractor. All phases were great. Receptionist work to schedule times important to your individual needs.

Bodnar Chiropractor Center provides, without a doubt, the best chiropractic service you will find. I usually see Dr. Bodnar who is incredibly attentive to patients as he clearly understands all that is chiropractic care. He listens to every need and concern and ensure you feel comfortable by answering any and all questions before adjusting your back/neck. Aside from this, Dr. Bodnar may be the most friendly and caring doctor I have ever been to! From time to time, I've needed to see Dr. Ye for various injuries and she is equally qualified and endlessness kind. I cannot say enough good things about either of them. All of the staff is thoughtful, helpful, and welcoming both on the phone and in person. If you have any question about which Chiropractor to see, Bodnar Chiropractic Center is your answer. Every single time I've recommended Dr. Bodnar's office to a family member or friend, they've been just as impressed and become long-term patients of Dr. Bodnar and Dr. Ye! read more

I've tried half a dozen chiropractors since moving to the area, but none of them showed the kind of care and expertise that Dr. Hansen has shown me. read more

Was seen quickly at my appointment time and the customer service by the front desk staff was excellent. The Chiropractor also took sufficient time to discuss my situation and history before doing my first adjustment. Bedside manner and technique were exceptional. I have been to several chiropractors since 2008 and can tell at Bodnar I am in good hands. Glad I found them! read more

Great Chiropractor and Office staff. He has very much improved my back and neck pain. His diagnostic technique and treatment plan gets to the source of the problem and he continues with a maintenance program once things improve. I had been wary to try a Chiropractor again (didn't have a good experience with a previous one), until he came highly recommended by a friend and I decided to take their advice. I'm so happy I did as I feel much better! I highly recommend Dr. Bodnar! read more

Visited this center yesterday. My amazing chiropractor Dr. Hansan was amazing. But that is all normalcy. The center is very clean and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. My son was with me and th h made sure to keep him busy while getting adjusted. I will most certainly be back to receive ongoing services! read more

I have been going to the practice for several years. The staff is very welcoming and professional. They have successfully transitioned to provide in-person services safely without compromising quality. Dr. Bodner gives good adjustments that last until the next visit. I have also had awesome massages that help relax tense and tight muscles. read more

Dr. Yi is awesome! I always feel so much better after going here. The entire staff is super friendly and are always very helpful.

Fantastic service! Sandra was extremely helpful and knew exactly what needed to be done in order to take care of me. Angel was also extremely helpful. One can tell that she's a fantastic doctor. I look forward to coming back soon! read more

One of my favorite chiropractors of all time; from California to Colorado to Virginia. He's personable and makes the whole experience as if you're just going to see an awesome friend who happens to be a fantastic chiropractor. They worked with me despite my insurance not covering chiropractic care. The electro-therapy (it's called something else; it's the pads that send electric pulses into your body) starts out each appointment (unless they need to move it to the end, which rarely happens) and then Dr. Bodnar always greets me with a smile and is genuinely interested in how I am doing in my body and in my life. Several times when I went in I was dealing with a cold. He gave me extra advice to help me heal faster each time and even performed a few acupressure points. One time I was totally stuffed up and after that my ears were popping for days. So much pressure was released from my head. He introduced a neck adjustment to me that I had never experienced and that made me feel taller immediately afterward. It was uncomfortable at first (I think it's called the Y axis) but he said it was the best way to help regain the natural curvature of my neck. And he always checks my comfort level afterward explaining that if it doesn't feel better that we wouldn't continue that adjustment. There is an initial exam and X-ray the first day. The exam goes through all your bones and explores your range of motion. The X-ray is specific to the area in your body that you need work on. The second visit is when Dr. Bodnar sits down with you and goes over your X-ray and his recommendations. Then you get the electro therapy and he does his adjustments. Every appointment is tailored to your specific needs of the day. I've never had an identical adjustment. Lots of the elements remain the same, but he makes sure to continue checking everything like a good auto mechanic does on your vehicle. I can't recommend Dr. Bodnar enough! I'm moving soon and may need to continue making the two hour drive back to see him for check ups. I always leave feeling better and don't need to come back until I've done something to throw off my adjustment. I'm an active, long-distance runner who also practices yoga, resistance and weight training. He never condemns me for the amount of miles I run or weight I lift. He always seeks to help me continue whatever I want to do in the most holistic and healthful way possible!! read more

Took their time to make sure you felt comfortable, confident and understood why the recommended therapy was needed. Very attentive to you to make sure you were not in any discomfort during your session. Thanks so much. read more

I miss being able to go to Dr. Bodnar and Dr Brown. It's been years now. My current employer's insurance changed and I can not go anymore and I have since moved out of the area, but I have yet to find a staff and chiropractic work such as theirs. Please go to this Chiropractor. I do feel most are out just to do quick adjustments but truly aren't there to see your injuries or pain reduced over time. Their goal is to see you less and less over time because you are starting to heal and your spine is better aligned and more pain free. I was scared at first but after he confirmed what I already knew about my spine and some additional injuries I had as a child that was NEVER corrected. I knew he was out to hustle me. After my initial recommendation regime. I went from 3 times a week, 2 times, 1 then, only 1 a month. I immediately felt better after going each week. I haven't been relieved of my current pain, since I stopped going there. He's a good doctor and truly has your best interest at heart. Not sure if Karen is still there at front desk but she was awesome too. Dr. Brown was amazing as well. I throughly enjoyed going to either one of them. Sad I can not find a Dr. like these guys!! read more

Dr. Yi was great with my 14 year old daughter. This was her first visit to the chiropractor. She talked directly to her and explained everything as we went along. Very impressed. read more

First class. I have been going with my entire family to Dr Bodnar since he started with only himself years ago. He has hired incredible assistants, and I truly am able to say that they have healed me. My United healthcare has declined their electronic stim therapy. But I would gladly pay for it and I will switch insurance companies. Heaven forbid they do something for a person that doesn't require pills and medication's from big Pharma! The adjustments x-rays and everything else were covered. Now on to my family. My husband was told by physicians that he would never walk again unless he got an operation and they scheduled him for two weeks later. After two appointments with Dr Bodnar, he walked in to the surgeon and canceled his appointment! He's the strongest one in the family still yet, lifting heavy amplifiers and cleaning stalls with my horse! No pills or meds. My son and daughter also got tremendous benefit from him. read more

Dr. Bodar is a godsend! For years I had pain in my back and tried everything to get relief. I was skeptical of going to a chiropractor, but my massage therapist insisted I go see Dr. Bodar. I am so glad I did! I called and left a message during their lunch break, and was very pleased to hear back from one of the friendly ladies behind the desk to schedule my first appointment. Upon my first visit I was treated so kindly and warm by the staff. Dr. B took x-rays and explained the areas of of concern. He then very thoroughly explained his plan to alleviate my pain and discomfort. I began my visits per his recommendations, and I feel like a new person. My pain is gone and my posture is even better! I received a beautiful Christmas card that was personally addressed and signed by the staff. Although my visits are spread out further now since he has corrected my spine, Karen, Michelle and Dr. Brown and Dr. Bodar all treat me like I'm one of their friends. The visits are always the highlight of my day! I am so impressed with the way Dr. Bodar runs his practice, and I would recommend him to anyone reading this or wondering if they should schedule and appointment! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Bodnar Center! I went there originally for an injury from running and ended up going back once I was better for regular chiropractic visits/adjustments. Dr. Brown worked his magic on me and I can't thank him enough for getting me back to a place where I can run without pain. I have also seen the massage therapist and she was so great. She really listened to wear I was having pain and focused on those places. It was the most relaxing experience I have ever had and can't wait to get another massage. I know go just for the health benefits of seeing a chiropractor. In addition, the office is such a great environment. Everyone who works there is so nice and a pleasure to see. The receptionists were helpful and chatted with me on my first visit, just made waiting less of a "waiting game". I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chiropractor! read more

Dr. Bodnar is fantastic! I arrived all jacked up and couldn't function at all- He immediately put me on the adjustment table and really went to work on me; exactly what I needed. I left sore but feeling much better. After a restful night, bio freeze, ice and rest, I was amazingly almost perfect in the morning! Just a little sore, but so happy I didn't suffer through the pain and try to "work it out" like I normally do. Thank you, and your staff for such a pleasant experience! read more

I had 3 others chiros but nothing compares to Dr. Bodnar. Expertise, experience, professionalism, calm and appropriate environment. I would also like to thank Karen his assistant who is a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and accomodating person...for us people in pain who need relief always at the last minute. Thank you both! read more

I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have found Dr. Bodnar and his staff! I absolutely love Karen, the office manager, she is always so kind and accommodating. It's been almost a year ago now that my neck started hurting so bad that I could not turn my head to either side, or look up or down. I then started looking for a chiropractor at the recommendation of my massage therapist. I had never tried a chiropractor before, so I was a little nervous at first. My pain subsided after only the third visit! (If you're worrying about the procedure, DON'T...it is so fast and feels a million times better afterward! Do not let this hold you back!) My neck issue took several months to correct, but I am so relieved that it was able to be done sans medicine or surgery. I really do look forward to my visits and plan to continue with regular chiropractic care :) Who else can say that about going to the doctor?! Thanks Dr. Bodnar! read more

I love Dr. Yi! After suffering with debilitating pain from migraines and fibromyalgia, I've finally found relief and without consuming pain pills. Dr. Bodnar is a kind, thoughtful, and gifted doctor. The office is wonderful and it is always a pleasure to see everyone. My pain centers around my neck. I am in my early thirties and used to "throw out my neck" every few weeks. The kind of injury where you have to turn your whole body around to look at something. I am doing so much better now after being a patient of Dr. Bodnar. I have mobility and my pain is gone. It is worth it to make an appointment. Good luck! read more

Dr. B is the best chiropractor I've ever had. He adjusts my spine in so many more ways than other chiropractors do. He has excellent techniques. I've been going to chiropractors for over 8 years now and I've moved around so I've been to several different ones and I am soooo glad I found Dr. B. He is absolutely the best in my opinion and I can't say enough good things about him. He and his staff treat you like family there. I will continue to go there as long as I'm in the area. read more
