Ok, ok so it appears to be a recreated, lighter "piano" facsimile but for aesthetics, it plays fine. They have about 20 or so beer options on the menu, full bar and an array of pub food. If you're here, it's mostly for the beer and the food is kind of an afterthought but we had the bacon cheese fries and had no complaints. Beer wise, I had a stout and a Scottish ale. Both were quite tasty and had a high enough ABV (around 8) to put a little wobble in my step. Friendly and prompt service (there's a button on the table that you push whenever you need something), fun vibe and it's located in a hipster-ish part of town. Swing in for a cerveza!

Quite an attractive, hip brewery with massive floor plan spanning from the downstairs brewing area…read more(and restrooms) to upstairs dining mezzanine. The key figure of the brewhouse and pub is the "falling piano", which is front and center to the space. Cool factor aside, the beer was enjoyable enough with SO much to choose from whether it be on draft or in cans. Food menu is your typical pub fare. IN LOVE with the ultra premium "DEHYDRATED BEEF HEART OR TRACHEA" on the dog menu. The addition of the call buttons situated at each space was quite clever. Service was definitely on point. The environment and upbeat atmosphere were certainly not lacking, but kinda missed the casual wandering element of a typical brewery. Consume Chela!

Dos Equis Lager was among my favorite "splurge" beers growing up, purchased to celebrate a pay day,…read morespecial occasion, or just having extra spending money! Of course, the wildly popular ubiquitous advertisement campaign featuring Jonathan Goldsmith as "the most interesting man in the world," played a key role in my decision to purchase Dos Equis Lager! Interestingly, last week, Dos Equis announced it is reviving the iconic ads with a College Football Championship advertisement, store displays, and social media campaigns! Now, Jonathan Goldsmith is 87; however, judging by his recent photographs, he's still extremely interesting! Despite new year's weight loss resolutions, the increase in popularity of weight loss medications, and an iffy economy, I do hope Dos Equis brand and Dos Equis Lager increases in sales with this recent reinvigorated ad campaign!

In advertising you live for the type of cultural impact generated by Mexico's Dos Equis "Most…read moreInteresting Man in the World" campaign. Beginning in 2006 silver fox actor Jonathan Goldsmith brought the Most Interesting Man to life for a decade intoning "Stay Thirsty My Friends" as he regaled beer drinkers everywhere with his ridiculously absurd achievements and endless charisma all in the company of countless young thoroughbreds who were drawn to the irresistible charms of a seasoned swordsman. His impact was electric as sales of the moribund Dos Equis brand tripled and a iconic cultural touchstone was born. Of course Dos Equis replaced their CMO ten years ago who decided he was smarter than this lighting in a bottle marketing phenomenon and retired the campaign. He's now the ex-CMO, jettisoned quickly as sales sank below pre campaign levels -- returning to brand to obscurity and forcing a sale to Heineken. Thankfully. The World's Most Interesting Man is back later this month and not a moment too soon as beer sales across the board are plummeting as prices rise and the messaging from most brewers is blandly generic and interchangeable. Welcome back Jon. Stay Thirsty indeed. Five stars for the swordsman.
