Small shop in this fairly large chain. Located just a block from the zocalo, downtown center of CDMX.
Crams a lot of inventory in the 300 square foot space. No browsing for merchandise here, all the bottles are locked in a front window display cabinet or behind the full length counter. Standing on line to wait your turn to be served is normal here.
Nice folks. I asked for an affordable pinot noir recommendation. The guy had an immediate choice. He exuded confidence, so I trusted his opinion. And he earned my respect after I shared the bottle with my lovely Sonoma county wine snob wife. We enjoyed the wine. Was a 2015 Chilean screw cap bottle that cost all of 145 pesos ($7.85 USD).
Spent 8 days on Mexico city. We bought wine here 4 times.
