Due to time, I was unable to enjoy the hot and cold pools this time and was escorted to the waiting area for my massage. I scheduled an 80-minute deep tissue massage, which was great. Definitely felt nice and relax after everything! Overall: I would highly recommend the spa and massage experience at Awe Spa if you get the chance. I like simplicity so this was just fine for me. Enzo is friendly, personable and I could listen to him speak Italian all day - while his English is not fluent, I could listen to him speak English with his strong Italian accent all day long!! The most beautiful language and the most beautiful accent ever anywhere. Between Italian, Spanish and English we had no problems communicating. Enzo was more affordable than a couple other places I contacted and I am very happy with the results! He comes from an entire family of hair stylists and barbers so I felt I was in very good hands. In fact, I was so calm when he finished my hair that I tipped him the wrong amount, because I was half asleep. You must go see him when you are in Playa del Carmen (but unlike me, tip him properly!) He completely transformed my dry, overtexturized, messed up hair into a sleek stylish bob. He was very attentive to not get it too short and only cut what needed to be cut, listening to exactly what I wanted. He is bilingual, English and Spanish and I was so lucky to find him.
