Starting with Kelvin the Owner, everyone was professional, they did a clean job, no problems, grinded the stumps, cleaned up the area, all for a fair price. Brought them out again yesterday to trim a medium sized oak tree and a very large oak in the front yard. Again, they did a great job ! Both trees look much better now. As a licensed arborist, they know how to climb and cut properly without chopping off the top. Now air and light flow thru the tree, no branches hanging over the driveway and neighbors property. No more HOA complaints ! And again for a fair price.

The landscape turned out nicely and they listened to my requests. I especially like the way they used the rock as a big part of the design and integrated some of my old plants. They seem fair in their pricing and told me they had a guarantee on their plants. After the landscape job I noticed they also did pressure washing so I got a quote and they cleaned my sidewalk. The team communicated they would be late and came out today to assess the area even when it was raining (two others rescheduled or didn't show up). I had two companies with good reviews come out yesterday to quote a price and they were pretty shady - they offered a price and when I told them I'm getting more quotes, they offered almost half the originally quoted price right away. One guy even insisted it would cost $250 to move the rocks. Rain offered an honest price from the start. We also asked to relocate a pony tail palm and he added that on for not too much more. With a little negotiation we said okay. Him and his team got the job done right away, same day. It was still drizzling/raining while they were working. They double check with us on the new location of the palm before replanting and raked up the leaves and left the area clean. Would definitely recommend the services here.

What should have been an easy and straightforward experience turned into a pretty big hassle…read more I hired Art and Tree for a relatively big landscaping project (extensive tree and hedge trimming, mulching flower beds, sprinkler adjustments, etc). I was told that it would be completed by a particular day, but it actually took nearly 2 weeks longer than promised, and we never received any real explanation as to why. Communication was poor throughout the entire experience. During the delay, I've was told 2 times that the job was done and given a request to send full payment, only to discover that the work had not been done as promised. I found this tactic to be particularly annoying and a waste of my time. Aside from the delay and asking for payment prematurely, the work quality was poor in general. The mulch they put down was insufficient in multiple areas and the trees were not pruned enough. They also caused a huge problem when during the tree trimming they broke a common fence in our backyard and also left tons of debris in my neighbors yard. My neighbor was not at all pleased with this sloppy work. When I brought up these issues to the company on two seperate occasions, they completely ignored what I said and did not respond. In the end, I had to pay someone else to clean up Art and Tree's leftover mess and also pay for the fence they broke and the costs were significant. Huge bummer. I am not at all happy with Art and Tree and I would definitely not recommend their business. There are far better and more reliable landscaping companies out there, so there's no need to deal with a business that doesn't appear to care.
