Having moved into my new home ins sunny Florida and overlooking a nice lake to the rear, it was a…read moreno brainer that we would need some fencing beyond the house perimeter where my dog could safely go to the toilet and have a little run around space without being bothered by our friendly neighbourhood Gators. At 130 lbs my Rottweiler could probably take on most of the little critters but as they had pulled a 9-footer out about a week before we arrived, I wasn't taking any chances. As always, I obtained 3 quotes, Campanella were the 2nd company to arrive. Sal turned up 20 mins early just for the quote, a good start, he is a no nonsense to the point talker but you get the impression he knows his job and he will do it properly, not something I got form the others. I had already decided on Campanella before the quotes came in, great to say they were also the best quote, so I agreed the contract. It took about 3 weeks for the license to come through (Brevard Council are not the fastest) but one approved, Campanella dropped off the materials on the Friday to start Tuesday ( Storm was forecast at weekend and Monday was Memorial Day). Tuesday 8.00am they were all here and set about my new fence, Florida is hot, but Sal and his team worked like Trojans, my fence was complete by 1.00pm amazing work. I can't thank Sal and his team enough; he knows his stuff her tells it like it is and he delivers on time no fuss no messing and competitive on price. What more do you want. We needed our old fence torn down and removed, and around 150 feet of replacement wood privacy fencing with 2 gates. Sal wrote up our estimate promptly and began the process by submitting a request for a building permit. A week later He arrived with his crew and three days later we had our gorgeous new fence. The price seemed really high but I believe you get what you pay for so I was "ok" with the price...plus the Biden economy. While we were waiting for install other professionals warned us that the Home Depot installers were usually the highest price and least professional. Our installer (Jerry), complained non-stop about the "sales team getting the measurements wrong", very vulgar, rude, hot headed, and most abusive person I have ever had in my home. I work from home and had to apologize to my coworkers for his "noise" (vulgarity). I'm surprised his helper/apprentice would even work with this man. There were times I was afraid the was going to get physically violent. Jerry is the epitome of workplace violence. My wife and daughter were uncomfortable with him and were glad that I was home. I would have kicked him out of my house if didn't result in additionally delayed project. If this is the type of people that Precision-Fit hires then I do not recommend them to anyone for any price. The quality is nice though....but I still don't recommend them for the reasons listed above.

Clearly they didn't want my business, but In a world where information is at your fingertips your customer service should be a little better. Rhonda continued to tell me she just books the appointments and if I would like to schedule an appointment for someone to come out to better tell me. For starters I thought that was what I was doing, not getting told by a receptionist I'm too poor for their company and that I don't know anything. I should of know better when she asked if I have spoken to any other companies, she clearly was trying to take advantage of thinking I haven't done my research. Jokes on her she was our 3rd quote and didn't even come close to the others. I hung up on Rhonda and instantly booked our renovations through KBF and will be doing both bathrooms for $10000. Cody gave me a bid for tiling my backsplash (~30 sq ft) that seemed good, so I hired him. He showed…read moreup an hour late (though he let me know beforehand that he was running late). We went over the work that needed to be done and he commenced work. A while later I needed to leave to run an errand (my wife was home though). When I got back, Cody's truck was gone, there were a lot of cut sheets of tile, but nothing on the wall and no Cody. I found a message from him on Yelp asking me to call him, which I did. It turns out he has "lost confidence" and abandoned the job. He said he tried to tell my wife before leaving, but she was unaware of this. When I spoke to Cody on the phone he indicated that I didn't owe him anything, and did offer to put me in touch with someone he felt could do the job. I didn't go with his recommendation mainly because I didn't have enough trust in him to make that choice. The guy I did hire was able to reuse some of the cut tile Code had left, but we needed to buy 5 more sheets nevertheless. There may be lots of things Cody is good at, but tiling a backsplash with herringbone tile sheets is not one of them, and abandoning a job is just not OK.
