The stylist speaks of course Japanese and German, and some English. The reason I gives 4 starts here, is because I really like my hair cut coming out from her hands. As the only stylist and the owner of the salon, she has fast, experienced hands. Her hair cut seems quite Japanese traditional, but perhaps because I am also an Asian, I find this Japanese style of haircut classic and nice looking. In my eyes, the way she handles my pony and the length of my hair matches well with the shape of my head and my face. I especially love the way she brushes and dries my hair as finishing. She does not use hair styling spray and could use only a plastic hair brush with hairdryer to make a really nice looking hair. The stylist is genuine. In the first time I split my haircut and hair coloring into two visits, she offered to let me know that since the two visits only have one-week interval, I should only pay for a discount price but not full price. And one time after I finished my haircut and wanted to make the next appointment in one month, she suggested that the next visit does not need to be that soon. Like a lot of her other customers (most of whom I have seen are from Japan), I became her loyal customers even after moving to somewhere faraway. For those who like or who are interested in Japanese haircut, I would recommend to check out this salon.

I tried a handful of salons in FFM (always leaving disappointed) and eventually discovered Bel Hair-a super cute salon with amazing staff who attend to the little details that make your experience special. Dominik is as friendly as he is talented and he always makes me feel understood and cared about. We have had a blast doing everything from a grey bob (my husbands fave!) to a long purple style with layers! Each time we brainstorm together and I leave happy!!! I am moving back to the US in a few weeks but you can be sure I will be planning my hair cuts around my visits back to Frankfurt!

The barber who cut my hair was the first one to the right when you walk in The haircut: the haircut was horrible. For starters, he cut my hair with an electric machine... Any barber will tell you that's a big no no. There was a language barrier between us but he understood enough to cut my hair. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he said he could do that. Little did I know that my hair was going to take a turn for the worst. He pushed my lining back into a u shape, the fade wasn't even a fade it was only one shade then 3 on top, and I had to walk him through how it was supposed to be done. The price: all together it was 12 euros plus tip which isn't that bad. Now I feel like I should of paid more The overall experience: Overall, bad experience. The guy was nice but in the end what matters to me is your product and his product was "whack". If your going to call yourself a barber you have to recognize someone's head and see the haircut.
