Several other electrical companies charged over $100 just to come out and do an estimate before even doing any work - I found this to be ridiculous and decided to go with "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." I can tell you right away that I made a solid decision as that Jim did a great job from the gecko! He was very responsive, professional and explained everything he is going to do over the phone so that I felt comfortable with choosing him as a professional. When he arrived, he was very respectful to the property. He did not mind me watching him install the electrical outlets in my home and explain how the whole system works. Jim did a fantastic job of eliminating one of my existing electrical outlets and moving it up. He also installed a new GFI outlet in my bathroom so that I can hook up my beloved Japan-style bidet toilet. Overall Jim is very knowledgeable and experienced in his electrical work, as well as very meticulous in little details. He takes pride in his job from start to finish to ensure the job is done right the first time. I felt very comfortable with Jim and "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." When we started our home renovations, we were overwhelmed. The last thing my wife and I could competently plan and design was our kitchen. We had a rough of idea of what we wanted the kitchen to look like and some measurements. Then we met George. He took our thoughts and made a real design, offered insightful suggestions, showed us samples fronts of how the kitchen cabinets, island, and bathroom vanities would turn out. When we came back to him with different requests or modifications, George rolled with it and seemed to effortlessly make it all work out. We hired them to add an exterior door and a bathroom with pocket doors to our detached garage. The project involved the addition of HVAC and propane plus running water and sewage to the garage. Jeff was great to work with and offered many really great suggestions for our design and the use of the space. He worked very hard to get things turned around in a timely manner and was sensitive to some specific scheduling needs that we had. We couldn't be more thrilled with the finished result and we have received many complements on how good the space looks. As an example of the degree to which he works to make sure things look right: he had to come over to make some adjustments on a couple of outlets, and it caught my attention that when he was reattaching all of the outlet covers, he was making sure that the slots of the screws were all exactly level with the ground. His eye for detail means that the finished result will look great! In the spirit of full disclosure, I knew Jeff as a friend before we hired him for this project (although we hired him based on high recommendations, his design ideas and the competitiveness of his bid). However, regardless of his friendship, the quality of his work speaks for itself and it is based on how pleased we are with that work that I can give him such a positive recommendation.
