This place is unbelievable! Whimsical over the top. Great prices! Anyone reviewing this…read morecomplaining about the prices doesn't live in the heart of the metroplex because this place puts other plant nurseries to shame. I could have spent hours wondering around. The outdoor space is huge and set up with pathways. There were so many surprises throughout not only with their unique statues and sculptures but there was a cage with a giant live peacock who actually spread his tail feathers out while we were watching him. It was incredible! If you're looking for garden statues, you will find something you love. They have everything from animals, gnomes, dinosaurs, aliens, flowers and all types of things. They have benches, gliders and swings that are extremely sturdy made out of hardwood. Very high quality. There is every size planter you can image. They even had wood burning stoves! The plants and trees were fantastic! They had such reasonable prices on trees. We purchased 4 trees 5 years ago from a nursery in Dallas and the trees at Roland's were bigger and at the 2021 price we paid back in the day! You can tell the employees love what they do and rally care about taking care of the plants. Everyone seemed happy and asked us several times if we needed help. If you're in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Roland's is 100% worth the drive.

What was once a great place to buy all of your nursery and landscaping needs is no longer. Over the…read morelast 10 years I've spent a lot of money with this nursery so much in fact that the owner recently commented that I probably purchased his Corvette for him. As the years have gone by greed sets in and what's best for the customer (service, quality of products & loyalty) is no longer the motto. Very disappointing to see it come to this, but unfortunately, I will need to start purchasing my landscaping needs elsewhere.

We couldn't be happier with our fence. We called a few people out for quotes and also explained our…read moreconcerns with having a dog and having a huge slope in our yard and not wanting a big gap like we've seen with other gates and doors in yards that have big slopes. So Blake came up with a solution that gives us a pretty large door to get my husband's truck in and out of without an ugly gap at the bottom. We did splurge on the gates and the doors so that we could get a design that we like (we are big fans of the star/Americana style). So our gates and our doors were custom-made. We also went with the board on board fence because it just looks nice. And we went with exposed post. Our neighbor down the street has exposed posts and it just looked really good. Really glad we didn't go with the standard Fence we are so happy with the finished product and it's something we love looking at every single time we drive up to the house

I signed a contract and paid a $2,750 deposit for fence work…read more The project was never started, and communication dropped as soon I paid the deposit. After repeated attempts to get updates, I was unable to get a clear timeline or resolution. I ultimately filed a police report, and after a detective contacted the owner, I received a partial refund of $501. The remaining balance has not been returned, and the work was never completed. Based on my experience, I recommend hiring ONLY on $0 basis. Pay only after the work is done. Turns out we picked a winner because he laid our carpet perfectly back in place and repaired a long cut in the carpet so well that you could not even tell where it had been ripped apart. Since then we had Rick come out on three more occasions over the years to stretch and refit carpet, to clean the carpet, and to repair carpet after yet another slab leak. The carpet still looks almost new thanks to Rick.

Do not do business with Midlothian Garage Door Company. They install crappy quality garage doors…read more There warranty is 30 days only. When the same cable breaks on the single door as the double door you realize there is a problem. Then the owner says you must have put the door down on a large object. That didn't happen. I'd hate for someone else to get stuck with this type of workmanship and company ethics. When the repaired the double door they didn't change out any parts. All they did was straighten the track and bend stuff around for over 200.00.
