Extremely Unprofessional and Damaged Property. Recently I had my windshield tinted; however, it needed to be redone twice. The first time was due to a misunderstanding and miscommunication with the shade desired. When the tint was removed, so much glue was left on the bottom half of my windshield that it made everything blurry and the light refract so bad that it was almost impossible to see at night. When I brought it back to be redone the second time I was met with a rude and defensive attitude. As a result I now have several deep scratches in my brand new windshield, that without the tint would refract the light right into my eyes. Additionally, not all of the glue was removed in some areas, which is annoying, but tolerable only because my only other option is no tint at all until I can take my business elsewhere. This is the second time I have done business with this company for tinting. The first time didn't go well either; however, I gave them a second chance because of how helpful the owner was when I had issues with a bad windshield replacement that was done out of state. The owner helped out with the company that did the replacement and guided me in the right direction to get it fixed. The issue I had the first time was that after 4 months, I had to have the windows redone as they started bubbling. The owner insisted it was dirt in between the tint and the window; however, I had traveled to another state that was much colder and that's when the bubbles appeared. They redid the tint, but scratched one of my windows, but said it was a fold in the tint and left glue on my back window. Within a couple weeks a couple of my windows were still bubbled, so I took it back and asked about the window that looked scratched. The owner then ripped the tint off to see if it was on the window (which it was) then proceeded to state scratches happen and ask what I wanted him to do about it. Needless to say the windows were redone again, with no real issues aside from the tint being cut short on one window. Overall I do not recommend this company. read more

So my newly purchased Scion was leaking. Had no idea from where the leak was coming from- called in from a referral ( Don from SoCal auto body) Was able to get an appointment for the following week. Bob correctly identified the source of the leak. My windshield. It rained today and no more wet headliner . Thought my sunroof was the cause . Bob's is fine if all you need is basic window tinting & we've used them successfully several times. However, if you have a higher end vehicle with technical electronics in your windshield, be aware you're much better off going elsewhere & will likely be sent there by Bob's once they're done doin the basic work of which they're capable. Bottom line, if your vehicle has Collision Avoidance, Lane Guidance, Windshield Cameras, etc., you need to have someone trained & qualified with those systems as Bob's can't Calibrate them after replacing your windshield and, like my situation, may even damage your working systems you take them, leaving you with a new windshield & dozens of WARNING! and ALERT! messages that only a Dealer can repair at substantial cost to you personally as your insurance company will NOT pay for it. My wife is on the phone as I type trying to wade through the mess that could easily been avoided had we taken her 2016 Accord Touring to Honda for a new windshield. REPLY: Yes, that's what my review points out. The aftermarket windshield without the high tech stuff worked fine, but if you want all the high end stuff that we missed having, you need the OEM windshield & we wished we had gone elsewhere for that. Had we been told up front you couldn't do the complete repair, we would have gone to Honda & saved ourselves time & money. Ive never gotten my windows tinted so I honestly had no clue what I was doing. The girls on the phone were great and when I got my windows done they have visuals to show you what the tint will be like. Super helpful! I waited in the lobby while my windows got done and they were very prompt and got it done within the time frame they told me. When it was done they explained There is a warranty on the tint Incase anything goes wrong and the price point was great! I went to this place originally because a friend recommended them because he had such a great experience and I would definitely recommend them too.
