The long distance communication was not an issue as Jason was available through email, text and phone call every step of the way. We reached an agreement on a fair price, and a pickup date was set. And let me tell you, the four hour drive was completely and totally worth it! Jason was waiting for us with a warm smile and friendly greeting. And that was just the beginning. The car was waiting for us off the show-room where it was presented as if we were driving a brand new car off the lot. I'm telling you, the recon department at Rahal Lexus is top notch. My wife could not have been more impressed and happy about her long-awaited upgrade. The paperwork was quick and painless and on top of all that, Jason took the time to sit with my wife in the car and explain all the in's and out's of the car to her and even help her connect her phone. I purchased my Lexus from Bobby Rahal this week. It is the second Lexus my husband and I have purchased from this dealership. Mr. Alex Coulton was our sales consultant. Alex was professional, knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and went out of his way to find two separate vehicles on the premises so I could determine which color of exterior and interior I was interested in. After I made my selection of what I was looking for, the dealership did not have a car available to match my request. Alex went to work on his computer to see if any other dealership had a vehicle with the specifications I wanted. Later that day, Alex emailed me with two possibilities I might be interested in. I did select an automobile from one of the two possibilities and closed the sale in one week. Every condition of the sale Alex and I agreed upon was in the paperwork I signed, with no unwanted surprises. The entire process of selecting my Lexus, and completing the sale, was painless, quick, and easy. The sales manager at Bobby Rahal Lexus of Mechanicsburg agreed to terms of the sale that were mutually acceptable, and Alex's expertise in all things Lexus, his pleasant manner, and being able to believe what I was being told, were tremendous pluses in the new car experience. From the time I stepped into Bobby Rahal of Mechanicsburg on a Monday to test drive an SUV I was treated with courtesy and respect. Bill Hartman was such a nice guy, told me all about the different SUV'S. I told him I wanted to come back with my husband. I took my time and called a couple weeks later. Well let me tell you it was not a mistake. Bill was promoted to manager so Ed Woolford helped us but Bill came out and talked to us and met my husband. Ed was so kind and respectful as well. They spent a lot of time with us. We picked out the car we wanted and came back the next week to pick it up. It was the RX350 AWD Luxury vehicle. The color inside and out was perfect. Ed went over everything. We had a little problem with connecting my phone to the car but they were not satisfied until the problem was fixed. Loved that about them. I love my new car. Very disappointed at how Bobby Rahal handled a "situation" that occurred a week or so ago. It had to be time for their employees to go home and I can only assume I was in the way. This black 4 runner came up behind me and began driving very aggressively. At one point this young man throws his middle finger up at me as he's passing me. I follow him into a gas station and he was definitely a LEXUS employee. I couldn't see his name but he had a good bit of facial hair. When he realized I followed him he jumped back in his SUV and takes off up Route 11. I called into LEXUS to report his hostile behavior. While on the phone I spoke to a gentlemen who took all the details from me and then when I asked to speak to a manager he became resistant. I called in the following day in hopes of getting a return call and no one would return my call. LEXUS has some beautiful vehicles but I will be moving my business over to Sun Motor.. read more

Had a great experience at Bobby Rahal Lexus. Chad helped me through the buying process and made it stress free and enjoyable. I saw the car online before placing a phone inquiry about it. In person, the vehicle was exactly as Chad described and I didn't encounter any surprises. He was extremely knowledgeable about every vehicle on his lot (something I never encountered at any other Lexus dealer I visited.) He took time after the sale was completed to show me around the vehicle and point out noteworthy systems and features. The buying experience was low pressure, Chad was knowledgeable and professional, and the customer service during the entire process was top notch. We really enjoyed our experience with Ed our Salesperson and everyone we encountered at Bobby Rahal Lexus. Although they were not willing to negotiate the pricing on the used vehicle we purchased (sign of the times), we have been looking for a long time and they had the exact 2017 RX350 we have been searching for, so we agreed to pay full price. The Service Department and showroom prep staff did an excellent job and honored all of our requests for prepping the car for delivery. Ed was a wonderful advocate and even though he was on vacation, continued to provide us feedback on the status of our new car. Bought a new RX350h at Bobby Rahal Lexus. The car is amazing; love it! There were a couple of things I wish could have been done differently. Had a small glitch with financing, as I didn't know a car to be built is assigned a "dummy VIN"; that confused my Credit Union and we had to scramble to get the first check voided and loan application fixed. Also surprised that CarMax offered us more than $2,000 more for our 2014 Murano trade-in than the dealership would offer. On the plus side, the dealership was willing to hold our personal check for up to 5 days to allow us to get the CarMax check into our account to cover it. Didn't need it, but we appreciated it. read more

As soon as we had narrowed down the car we wanted, Ed provided a detailed "out the door" price for the vehicle, with nary a push for extras or extended this or that. He met each and every request we had; allowed - and even assisted - us when determining the storage space in the trunk; stayed in contact through a multi-week effort to dispose of our previous vehicle; and provided a personal, warm, experience at every meeting. Generally I have always detested car buying. You always wonder if you got the best deal possible or could have done better. We dealt with Jason Smith who treated the sale in a very straight forward, positive way. We immediately found the car we wanted and there was no pressure to buy a more expensive model. He personally called me and said that he was concerned about my review. And he went completely above and beyond my expectations The car that I had wanted was actually sold to another dealership he paid out of his own pocket to get my car back that I wanted and he work with me on the price this was an amazing gesture on his part.
