I didn't have a french number nor phone service so I couldn't make an appointment so I came in during the beginning of my trip to make an appointment for the last day of my trip. They had a handful of open spots but both times I was there, there were at least 2-4 in and out customers do I figure they get their usuals. So, I come in for my appointment and just as Brazilian sugaring is in the US, it's quick! My lady was super sweet and despite my desperate attempts to speak only in french, I struggled and they were super sweet--everyone was able to communicate with my broken french/English mainly which was nice! The sugar was a bit hot and maybe more sticky vs tacky than I was used to but it worked out okay and my lady did a pretty good job. my sugaring, once done, only costed 27€ because I am lucky to be pretty hairless as is LOL. Initially she spent time consulting with me and I shared photo of what I was looking for (I went from short length hair to a pixie cut). My haircut was crafted expertly and extremely happy with the outcome. Sarah was so sweet, genuine and truly accommodating! Sarah brought me to the rear of the salon to the wash station room. She explained she wanted to create a relaxing and soothing experience while getting hair washed/conditioned. Dimmed lights with a visual slide show projection of tropical images to enhance the experience- totally cool. The shampoo wash and head massage was the best ever! Sarah expertly gave a lengthy head and neck massage and ended with a hot/warm head towel to further add to the experience. It was a real treat! The salon itself has a contemporary, a chic but yet warm design, immaculate. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. I was brought a tray of bottled Vitell water/glass during my visit. Be prepared since they don't rush you out the door with a quick turnaround appointment. Its apparent service is important and taking care of you takes added time which was very evident to me. Salon is easy to find on a side street off the active (popular amongst tourists) Rue Saint Denis (2nd Ard) about a 15 min walk from the Louvre/Notre Dame. Nice area to explore and walk about.
