do not recommend Bobby Cloud for divorce representation. In my experience, his office mishandled critical deadlines and then shifted the blame onto me. On January 14, 2025, his office was served with an Order for Production requesting older tax documents. They did not forward that order to me until January 28, 2025. That delay immediately put us behind. The requested records were older tax documents stored in a storage unit by my bookkeeper due to their age. Retrieving them required time, coordination, and additional expense. Because of the delay from his office, I had to scramble under extreme pressure to gather everything, causing financial strain, time away from work, and significant emotional stress during an already difficult divorce. On February 11, 2026, I contacted his office to arrange delivery of the completed documents and was told they would be closed until February 17, 2026. When I showed up on February 17 with everything ready, they refused to accept the documents. I was then informed that Mr. Cloud was withdrawing from my case, claiming we had "run out of time" and that he did not want to risk sanctions. The time issue resulted from his office's delay in the first place. Instead of taking responsibility and resolving it, he withdrew at a critical stage, leaving me without representation and forcing me to hire new counsel. If there were zero stars, that is what I would give this firm. At the initial meeting we agreed that it was a simple non contested divorce and would not exceed retainer fee. Not true!! I went to court two times with him, once for it to be rescheduled and once for 5 min. The rest of my money apparently went to dealing with incompetent, clueless, and disorganized women of the office. Bobby isn't your lawyer even if he is supposed to be and you are the one paying him. My ex husband got everything. Even in my spousal support my final divorce papers read that it stops if EITHER of us got remarried or died. He never paid and I knew if I pushed he would just remarry anyone to get out of paying me. After you sign the papers Bobby will rudely walk away from you while you are trying to talk to him and not talk to you at all. Do yourself a favor DON'T trust him. Also we went to court several times (increasing his charges of course). Never got an explanation why my appearance was required in court. I would go in Bobby and his lawyer would go in the door in the back of the courtroom then Bobby would return and tell me it was done and that's all. Took four months short of four years after I was with my ex almost forty years for me to get my divorce. My ex's lawyer Fred McAtee is apparently a much better lawyer. read more

First of all, we all know that the legal system is complex, especially in a divorce hearing where the former spouse is possibly bitter due to the fact that they have been told that they have no more right to treat the victim (the spouse that is filing the divorce) in any manner that they choose, and in our case, have used both the ex partners and their half of their entitled money to purchase yachts, houses, etc (and factually speaking in all of their relatives names) in an effort to spend as much money as possible to leave the petitioner in a much more intended dire state with no money to buy food housing and the essential basic needs of survival, and on top of that, sold the house they both lived in to litteraly put them on the street. This petitioner is my grandmother, whom is over 80 years old and left w/o any resources to hire an attorney to fight for her. Moving on, our first time reaching out to Bobby Clouds firm we got more help in 15 minutes from Denise R., than I've recieved in 3 years, ALL of the resources and general info was given out of genuine care, understanding, and overall humanity that any decent human with compassion that in my opinion we should all have to make this world a better place for the next generation. WORST experience of my life!!!! Needs to get a new front office person. I called specificity asked the front office person if the lawyer would be willing to take a case in a different county for her to right away make an appt for me. I show up at my time. 3:30. Wait until 4pm to be seen after having to sit in the waiting area to listen to some guy argue with his ex wife about child custody and cheating. To finally get called the lawyer a DICK looks at me and says you gotta go to the county it's in. What in the hell kind of service is this really?!?! Get your staff better instructions.
