We were greeted by the attendant who explained that Kiechel features local and regional artists on the two floors that are open to the public. An extensive collection of Thomas Hart Benson drawings were featured on the second floor showcasing his talent outside of the murals that I was more familiar with. The main floor walls represented local artists. Parking in downtown Lincoln is a challenge, and once you find a spot you then deal with the parking meter. We downloaded the parking app and reserved our space for an hour. We spent the first 15 minutes trying to find the building and resorted to asking a clerk at the optical shop. Kiechel has been operating since 1986 but lacks signage and the building number is difficult to see from any distance. The gallery is worth a stop, but you too may have difficulty finding this little gem among the buildings and traffic in downtown Lincoln. I would recommend downloading the parking app before heading to the capital city.

It is so worth the additional price, though! You can really see and feel the difference. The owners are so very nice and helpful. Just because it isn't in the showroom doesn't mean that they cant order it for you. I had them order a whole bedroom set for me and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. It is so pretty too! It is furniture that will last so long!

If I was in the market for furniture, I'd look at this location for inventory. We were looking for a very specific padded bench that they didn't seem to have, and unfortunately, we didn't have time for them to custom make us one. I would recommend stopping in and seeing what they have, but be prepared to pay for the handmade quality.

We weren't able to find a part, so I decided it was time to replace it. Mike helped me pick out a new shower valve. The plumber that originally installed the shower did not install the old valve correctly. I had to cut it out. Mike showed me the SharkBite push to connect fittings. That made replacing the shower valve a breeze. I'll definitely go back to Handy Man next time I need any plumbing help. Rick R.

We needed some work done on our golf cart, and to my surprise I was immediately connected to the service department who asked if they could come to our house and pick the cart up right away. Even more impressive was the speed at which the work was done, and then, as friendly as can be, the cart was delivered back to our home (almost 45 minutes from their store) with a smile. A shout out to the team that worked on the cart and the kind gentleman, I believe his name was Phuong, who delievered it with care. They even polished it up while it was there. I would HIGHLY recommend them!
