So I filed a claim and was told it's a painless repair only. I was not told this at the time of purchase, and no where on my contract does this state that. Was good last year when I had my axel replaced during an oil change for about 1200$ on my Chevy Silverado. The month of January I hit a dip and I was told it popped out of my CV boot. I took it back to GMC to see if warranty is covered and not to touch it before any charges were gonna get charged to me. I got a call the next day saying the warranty doesn't cover it and to replace it again for $1800. I asked them not to do the work I can get the axel replaced for 3/400$ up the block. I purchased a brand new Sierra at4 at 11 am Saturday and it was broke down in my driveway at 2 pm. Would crank and crank but never start. I drove the truck off the lot with 4 miles on the odometer and it had under 50 miles on it when it crapped out. It was the 3.0 Duramax motor. I would avoid GMC at all costs! I hope this review finds someone who's looking at buying GM and helps them make a better decision. Service Center is horrible. 3 times to this service center for the same issue ( 1 time to another GM service center). Horrific nose when driving, tech keeps saying it's all terrain tires, it's not, it gets louder when you turn and have weight on the driver side tires. Last week took it in and the service guy said he had the shop manager ride with him he agrees it's a hub assembly when can I bring it back for repair. Set it up for this Wednesday and also ask about the tires and he said to get them covered we will need proof of tire rotations. Come back Wednesday, after waiting 2 hours service guy comes in and says they aren't changing the hub, they have decided they want to charge me for tires, wheel alignment and wheel balance, the truck is a 2024 with 21k miles and is under warranty... little confused how we went from a warranty repair to know I'm paying for something. We go through the paperwork for my tire rotations. He keeps saying there is nothing wrong with the truck that the tires weren't rotated. I have paperwork in my hand showing otherwise. The service guy stated well I'm not saying you're lying but did you actually watch them rotate your tires because those tires were never rotated. First the mechanic is a personal friend so yes I know the tires were rotated. Second you can't argue my paperwork.. After that I called GM Customer Care and the service center told them it was severely out of alignment... they didn't even check the alignment in 4 trips? How would they know? And the truck doesn't pull at all. They also are now refusing to service the truck which is fine because I don't trust them anyways. I made an appointment and when I arrived in the service bay the service guys seemed preoccupied so I got out knocked on window and relayed I had appointment they asked with whom I confirmed Peggy and was made aware she was off today. Okay, so Carl begin to help me. He was kind, patient and timely with my service but initially it did feel like I was bothering him. I was able to use a $39.99 oil change coupon and get in and out! BUYER BEWARE and avoid this gnarly used car dealership like the plague! Terrible communication and shady as eff business practices. We bought a used 2020 Nissan KickS from them. As my son drove it home (from his brand new purchase) on I-44, the driver's side mirror flew off the car and was crushed into oblivion on the highway. We called them and they replaced the light, AS THEY SHOULD. Then we noticed oil and condensation puddles under the car. We had purchased the bumper to bumper warranty, so we took the car to Orr Nissan, per the warranty instructions, and had diagnostics run. They located the issues; however, the warranty co refused to cover because these were "pre-existing" issues that Bob Howard Buick/GMC SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT AND FIXED. So, we had to drive to Edmond, yet again, to drop off the Nissan KickS for more repairs. Upon arrival, the worthless mechanics in the service department (CJ and Kaden) tried to push us off and give us the run around. Zero communication, zero responsibility taken. I had spoken with the used car manager, Pablo, and he had assured me that Bob Howard would "make this right". After more runaround laps than a NASCAR race from CJ and Kaden, I finally called Pablo on speaker phone, utterly exasperated. He gave them verbal confirmation that YES, BOB HOWARD WAS TO TAKE THE CAR AND DIAGNOSE AND FIX. Right now they have the vehicle. They damn well better make this right. I have already reached out to NBC, CBS, and ABC locally to let them know that Bob Howard should be investigated for shady as hell business practices. SAVE YOURSELF THE MISERY AND NEVER, EVER, EVER BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They are owned by Group 1 Automotive, who should probably be investigated from the top down. While shopping for a new vehicle, I noticed that there were 2 Yukon Denalis shown to be at the dealership. My wife and I stopped by around 7 pm on a Friday night to look to see if it was anything we wanted to put on our short list. As my previous vehicle was a Yukon Denali, I was very familiar with the line and loved everything about it. This would have been possibly their easiest sale ever. When we arrived at the dealership, neither of the 2 vehicles were on the lot not were they around back. We know this because since no one even greeted us (presumably because it was 8 pm and they didn't want to work) we walked the entire lot TWICE and it would have been very very easy to locate such a vehicle. I used my phone and got back online to schedule an appointment to see the vehicles. When I hit submit, it took less than 5 minutes for a representative to call my phone and ask when we could come in to see them. I inquired if they were on the lot and, to both of our surprise, we were told "They sure are. I am standing here at the door looking right at them." Its funny because she would have had to look through my wife and I to see any Yukon and never acknowledged us. We agreed to come in the next morning and were instructed to ask for a particular person that would show us both vehicles. We returned the next morning at 9 a.m. for our scheduled appointment. When we walked into the dealership, we stated we were there to see the person mentioned the night before but were told they weren't available. We learned that this was what we believe to be the sales manager because the person that wanted to "help" us was talking to them later and that name tag matched the one we were told to ask for. When I inquired about either of the vehicles, I was told that by chance they both sold the previous night. This is really strange since we knew they weren't even there. I asked what time they sold and was told late afternoon. If this was the case, how did anyone look out the door and see the vehicles? I called the salesman out and he only offered to show me something that was not even close to what I requested. I asked him if the "bait and switch" routine worked well for him and he said I had no clue what I was talking about. My wife and I walked out immediately after being treated so ridiculously. What is really funny is that they called later that afternoon asking if I was still interested in either of the 2 vehicles I inquired about. I simply replied "The ones that aren't on your lot." It must have been then when they realized they had been caught because they hung up on me. This is not my first run in with this dealership as they have been the worst I have ever seen at service as I used them a couple times before on my previous Denali. Stay away from this dealership as they are everything that dealers are rumored to be. I'm happy to say that we did drive just down the road an purchase a brand new Mercedes instead and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised at the treatment from everyone there. Took our company vehicle in to be looked at for a trailer brake issue and battery issue. Had a bumper to bumper extended warranty which doesn't cover everything like you would think. Got the repairs done. They were supposed to deliver the vehicle to our office but didn't do it in time. Called next day to have them delivered and was told they do not do deliveries even though Mark the service advisor said they would. And since he was off nothing they could do about it. Supposedly then was supposed to go ahead and try to deliver. At 2pm didn't have our truck back. The company owner went to pick up his vehicle. When he got there they said it wasn't done and then couldn't find the truck. Called the service manager and general manager and couldn't get a response. The receptionists were rude when I told them I needed a manager because our truck was lost and said I just needed to leave a message and they would get back to me when they could. Once they even didn't even say anything when they answered just sent me to voicemail. They finally found it over 30 minutes later and said the cashier had the keys. I contacted the dealership to inquire if the price was correct or if there was an issue which the vehicle due to the discounted price. The lady "Elizabeth" was sharp and with me and said, "No, it is a new vehicle and they are starting their Memorial Day sale". She also told me to ask for Andy when we go there. So, off we went to the dealership. We were immediately greeted by a salesman Charlie who was fantastic given the upcoming circumstances. After we test drove the new vehicle, they drove ours to give an estimate, they sent the salesman back to say the price was wrong on the internet! Not my fault and not my problem. They then proceeded to try to get us to buy without even working with us and saying they couldn't afford to sell the vehicle at the internet price. After hours of haggling, we finally left. Which I am sure they are glad we did so they can fix their errors on internet and not have to honor what they advertised. Bottom line . . . My Original Review: 1. At least one of their employees is a thief who is stealing items from customer vehicles when in for service. My US Military National Parks Pass was stolen as well as a THC vape pen and a handful of quarters. When confronted about it Bobby Lubbers tells he there is a hole in their fence (where my truck was parked for service) with section 8 apartments behind and that's who he suspects because "in all his years this sort of thing has never happened". There were no signs my truck had been broken into and in fact automatically locks when the key fob leaves it. Zero accountability. 2. They can't seem to do what they promise. My newly purchased truck was in to have the hood repainted, along with a couple paint touch-up spots, and to have a piece of side moulding adhered better. The hood was painted but the touch-up spots and side moulding were never completed. When confronted about it, salesman Toby says he didn't notice the items weren't complete but to bring the truck back up at my convenience as it's a "simple fix". If it's so simple it should have been completed. I work everyday so it's not "convenient" for me to bring the truck back for what should have been done the first time for a "simple fix". The touch-up paint and side moulding fix have still not been addressed. Bob Howards Reply: Unfortunately, this was not Bob Howard Chevrolet. This was a different Bob Howard dealership that the vehicle was purchased from. However, if there is anything Bob Howard Chevrolet can do to help resolve this issue, please let us know. Perspective: Based on their reply 'The Bob Howard Auto Group' is not responsible for all that is represented under their umbrella or by the actions/conduct of their staff and use the term 'Group' to pass and deflect blame onto each other until the customer gets tired of chasing their tails. Let me be clear here, I never once spoke to a Bob Howard Nissan salesperson or even entered their dealership. The truck I purchased was on BH Nissan's lot but it was brought to me to test drive and ultimately purchase from Bob Howard Buick GMC's Used/Certified Pre-Owned salesman Toby. General Manager Bobby Lubbers was made aware of the theft and called me with excuses so if this was someone else's responsibility, why was it addressed by him? I'll tell you why, because the salesperson I bought the vehicle from, Toby, with BH Buick GMC, looped his boss into the situation as soon as he was aware there was a theft. I bought the truck from a BH Buick GMC salesman so I think I can safely deduce his boss Bobby Lubbers also works for BH Buick GMC. BH Buick GMC is my lien-holder, NOT BH Nissan (which is btw, in the middle of and surrounded by several Bob Howard entities). If Bob Howard is the 'brand' you use to sell others 'brand products' then your concern should be the 'Bob Howard' brand name that's being sullied here. After all, it isn't a truck brand made by any manufacturer that stole from me, it was someone representing YOUR brand 'The Bob Howard Auto Group' who stole from me. Now I suppose the next response from them will be that BH Chevrolet and BH Buick GMC are entirely separate entities in an attempt to continue to deflect responsibility...even though they are collectively 'The Bob Howard Auto GROUP'. For whom no one is apparently responsible. Stop deflecting blame and take some responsibility. My truck was dropped off for service at Bob Howard Buick GMC's Used/Certified Pre-Owned building, (the very first building in their row of dealerships), not BH Nissan or anywhere else. One final note and bottom line: I never asked for any type of restitution or reimbursement from Bob Howard auto group for what they stole from me, only that they recognize they have a problem. When I get there I spoke with Alex , he tells me that they carlot had put it in for service, it would not pass inspection , but Alex said he would check to see what else they had available . Not a good experience AT ALL. All I can say is be careful and read the reviews previous to mine. We bought a car that had "passed inspection". Check engine light turned on within 3 days of driving off the lot then I proceeded to put in 1500 dollars into the car worth of repairs. This is before we even had made the first payment on the car. My husband Spoke to our salesman and general manager and they said you "bought the car as is" and that was it. We were trying to find a middle ground and see if we could negotiate something but they didn't care. There are many dealerships in OKC that offer a 30 day guarantee for used cars free of charge to give you a bit more peace of mind. We should have done our research and we blame ourselves for that but I am a firm believer that just because something is legal it doesn't make it right. They could have done much more to make it right. Ive had friends ask me where to buy trucks and cars and definitely sent them elsewhere. The service department at Bob Howard is fantastic. Especially the service advisor Jeremiah, and the technician, John. I brought my 2021 Silverado to them because another dealer was unwilling to fix a clunking noise I had from the rear suspension. The other dealer kept saying it was normal noise for my truck. Jeremiah was very professional and courteous throughout the whole process, and the technician found the problem in a short time. They did not have the part in stock, but sent somebody to get it from the distribution center and they had my vehicle fixed quickly. Bob Howard Service Center is completely deficient in customer service! Two weeks ago, I made an appointment for this morning at 8:30. I scheduled a yearly check up on my Buick Cascada. I want to keep it in tip top shape. Yesterday, I received a text reminding me of my appointment. I waited in the service line this morning to turn my car over to the mechanics. The man that waited on me asked, "Are you here for an oil change?" I answered, "No. I am here for my scheduled appointment to have my yearly check up on my car." He said, "We are three days behind. We can't mess with your car today for a checkup." I reminded him I had made a scheduled appointment. I also told him, if I had been informed of the delay that would be fine, but I had not been notified. Now I was late for work, out gas and mileage, and Neil, who was going to take me to work from Bob Howard, was out his time, gas, and mileage. He said the service calls are made in Houston and they don't know when they are behind, so it was Houston's fault I was not notified, not theirs. I was not offered an apology for my inconvenience, or even a free oil change for their lack of customer service. I have not been happy with Bob Howard's service department before because they have told me I needed things done that I did not. I will never be back. I will never purchase another car from Bob Howard. I will be searching for a reliable mechanic that wants my business. After numerous (going estimate 6-8) calls and voicemails left over the past two weeks without a call back I have given up hope of getting my wife's Buick Enclave fixed through this dealership. We had originally taken the car in to Bob Howard's Service Dept back in early November without an appointment to see about getting the issue fixed (broken driver seat power panel) but decided due to the upcoming holidays and the cost to hold off until after the first of the year. Fast forward and we were ready to get the part ordered and schedule the service/work to be done. I call with the information of the service rep who had previously helped us (really nice guy who was very helpful) but he was no longer with the company so they were transferring me to "another service rep" who could help get me taken care of. Apparently "another service rep" is just a generic voicemail box that either no one checks or that they disregard the messages (at least mine). Finally the next week, after the 4th call and voicemail left the previous week of trying I asked the person who answers the phone and kept transferring me to the lost voicemail what the issue was, so she (very sweet and apologetic about the situation) told me she was transferring me to a different person, the Service Dept Supervisor. I got his voicemail but figured that "hey, he's a busy guy but he'll definitely call me back!". Well another 2 calls and voicemails left for him that week and still not so much as a peep back from anyone at Bob Howard... At that point I had given up hope of getting in touch with anyone there, or God forbid a call back. I reached out to a local used car dealership that I had heard good things about (MJ Auto Sales) and within the hour they had called me back and scheduled to get the part ordered and get my wife's car in to be fixed by an affiliated body shop. Needless to say I won't be doing business with Bob Howard... Well ever because I wasn't able to do business with them the initial time I tried. ****USAA members/Vet's beware**** So I found a car I liked and wanted to check out. It checked out ok. It had some maintenance issues ($1500 timing chain leak repair), and some of them were basic things like $8 tail lights. They were asking a good price, and I had a USAA coupon for an additional $500 off. When I went to ask about the coupon, David the salesman said he wasn't sure about that coupon. He later refused that discount stating that while it was listed on USAA that way, the dealer was not and would not honor it. Those $16 of tail lights that needed to be replaced? He refused to replace them, saying the repair dept charged them $150/hr for the work. He then tried to rake me over the coals in the finance discussions. They wanted to finance $9k for almost $15k. For a $13,500 car. When I asked why about various concerns/questions I had, David said he didn't know the answer. This happened across a variety of subjects. So either they don't let sales reps do their jobs, or their sales reps are morons. Then they did the classic "come take the keys for some reason" to try and pressure me into signing the paperwork. So to recap: they don't honor USAA deals listed online, they don't have an answer to why/how they plan to screw you, just that they will, they don't repair basic things on the car but boy they push that car warranty, and when push comes to shove, they don't stand behind anything. I wouldn't set foot on this lot again if they were gonna give me the car now. Don't waste your time Follow up: the manager that commented below never returned my call attempts.
