There is always someone ensuring the floors are clean and stuff is put where it belongs. The members keep to themselves and any interactions are usually short and asking if someone is in the way of someone else haha. I never feel judged here because everyone is focused on bettering themselves. I truly am so comfortable here. The women's locker room is clean and roomy. I love utilizing the sauna after my workouts. Signing up online was a breeze! I chose to check out the Crunch One Kickoff to meet with a Personal Trainer and see what the prices were like. I ended up signing up with Kameron D. and have so far enjoyed it. Unfortunately a family emergency took me away from Fort Collins for about two months, so progress isn't really something I can comment on right now. But the first sessions were great, and I do feel like I'm being challenged and learning a lot. Excited to get back into a routine now that I'm home and it's a new year. To note: right when my family emergency came up, the manager was extremely kind and empathetic and answered all of my questions I had about leaving/returning for the personal training. I am very grateful for the way he handled it. The childcare is such a blessing too! All of the ladies working are so friendly and treat the kids so well and there is so much for them to do! My daughter always has a smile on her face and tells me how much fun she had when I pick her up.

Because I've never pursued endurance sports, throughout my pregnancy he had genuine concern that the labor process would be unbearable for me. Luckily, with the help of Michelle, that wasn't the case. Working with her was not only incredible helpful for the last (literal) push of pregnancy, but for every step on the road to delivery day. Michelle showed genuine care and concern for every pain and discomfort I experienced during pregnancy. She assigned exercises and stretches to address each of the ever-changing strains that my body underwent with my developing baby bump. It was amazing to me to encounter all the changes that women's bodies are designed to sustain as they adjust to the new weight distribution and changing physiology that comes with pregnancy. In my times with Michelle, she seemed to always be a step ahead of these changes, knowing the symptoms and aches I might be experiencing next, and suggesting exercises and giving advice for each of them. I really appreciated the way that Michelle described the goal of each exercise she assigned. They ranged in purpose from addressing certain pains to strengthening muscles I would need as my baby continued to grow and eventually for the labor and delivery! Michelle's explanations were great motivation for me to do the exercises throughout the week. I knew the details of how I was strengthening and preparing my body and how I was protecting and caring for my baby! With Michelle, no topics were off limits! It was so helpful to have someone who had been through pregnancy and was unashamed in discussing each part and function of my body. She had great advice and knowledge for even my most awkward questions! Michelle's strength of faith in God and the way she trusts Him daily was very comforting to me, especially in discussing my fears as I looked ahead to labor. It's something I had never been through before, and Michelle was so sweet to provide not only tons of really helpful advice for both the mental and physical side of labor, but to also help me find my confidence in the Lord's strength to bring me through it! I am truly grateful for the time I got to spend with Michelle preparing to have my baby!

They provide safe training for learning tricks on jumping and climbing and twisting and turning and an array of stuff. My son loved it for a long time. Their pay program used to be month to month which was GREAT. We have been a customer for years and my son loved it but occasionally when he was gone for awhile we had to freeze the account. Well end of 2020 they changed the pay structure to signing a 6 MONTH contract. I did it hesitantly and my son is no longer interested in doing classes or parkour after years of doing this he is done. He is not going to classes yet I have to pay their fees for another 3 months :( NOT happy. There is no way out from paying. Their prices also went up a LOT. He used to get 2 classes and unlimited open gym for what I am pay for one 90 minute session now. Guess I am just stuck sucking it up until our contract ends in june. I do not like the way they force you into a contract now and also dont really believe the increased price is really worth it. I have also asked them to please change the date i get billed because they send my account into the negative every month now. They used to be able to adjust it to work with my pay schedule and now they just take it and refuse to work with me at all.

Very untrustworthy business practices that do NOT put the customer first. They need to make changes…read moreas soon as possible. Let me explain: we went online to enroll our child (usually they have you commit to a 3 month class), and we were able to set up the monthly payment online as well. In the third month, we spoke to the instructors to confirm the last class date, and assumed that would be it. We received NO instruction from them that unless we canceled, we would continued to be billed for classes as IF we continued to re-enroll. We were not told by anyone at anytime that although they specify your class is "3 months long" and emphasize committing for that time period, their business practices are set up in such a way as to (seemingly) trick their customers, because the billing keeps happening even if your class is finished! Here's where it goes way overboard. Once we found out about the extra charge, we contacted them via email to ask them to refund us and to cancel future payments. We were told the only way to cancel future transactions was to come IN PERSON to get a *special* form to fill out by hand to cancel. So wait, this is 2017, and we CAN enroll and set up for automatic payment through the APEX website, but we CANNOT cancel by emailing, calling, or through the website? I want to give the benefit of the doubt here, but all I can see are signs of a business practice designed to make cancellation obtuse, and extra payments a likelihood. This is not the way to make customers first in your business. One last example of APEX not putting their customers first. When we signed up for the class, we were told up front what time we would get for open gym. About 1 week after we signed up, they changed the open gym time. Wait - they asked US to commit to a 3 month class, but they don't have to commit to the time they promised to us as part of the class package? To be fair to them, they offered two other times to us: Sunday mornings, and a weekday at 8pm. If our child was a teenager, 8pm on a weekday might be fine. But our child is under 10... 8pm is bedtime. The point is, if you ask customers to commit to a time, then you have to commit to that time as well. And if unforeseeable business circumstances make it impossible to keep your commitment, then you have to go out of your way to make it up to your customer. We offered 3 options to APEX as alternatives that would have satisfied us, but they just essentially said they would think about it, then blew us off. APEX has good instructors, great equipment, and a fun concept. But their business policies and employee training do NOT put customers first.

Manic Training Fort Collins is now my new home 3 to four days a week. I drive from Windsor for 20 min. To attend the class, I am so hooked now I'll probably drive 60 miles. The owner/coach Craig is top-notch. The gym is very welcoming and extremely clean, and the numbers are all very supportive, kind, and helpful. I am 56, and I am in the best shape I've been in years. I can do things that I couldn't imagine doing five years ago. Attending this class helps me enjoy my weekend activities without pain and injury. The most important thing I found is I have less pain and more energy than I've had in years. I would highly recommend this gym. It's home to many people!!

Craig (the owner) openly discouraged me from joining the gym after he embarrassed himself with his comments directed at me. I originally gave him the benefit of the doubt, and continued to come to the workouts. Unfortunately, he continued to be aggressively rude and condescending. Another trainer I spoke with, as well as some members, made excuses for his unprofessionalism, chalking it up to his personality. I found this to be unacceptable, and discouraging seeing as you can't attend this gym without dealing with Craig. So, for those who value integrity and decency, you won't find it at Manic Training.

The people who work at Raintree often remember my name, welcome me in, and help with any issues that come up for me. The people who work out here come in a range of ages and body types, and are friendly and thoughtful about helping keep the space nice for whoever is coming in next. The space is well organized into sections that feel private and very functional. The yoga space is very zen. There are a few hangout areas that include couches, or tables and chairs, and feel very home like. The recovery room is quiet and dimly lit. There are several spaces with weights and weight machines and each have their own personality. The track is perfectly located to make it easy to include the sled and/or a warm up or cool down lap along with weight lifting. The vibe is consistent and reminds me of being in a spa. Not hooty tooty, but rather, like I have a rich friend who has invited me over to their gym and is glad I've come over! The gym always smells nice and fresh, is clean and welcoming, and has good music on at exactly the right volume. It's easy to walk around as the paths to places are well delineated. And, I always feel like I belong. The offerings, responsiveness and community all resonate deeply with me. Currently I am focusing on prepping for the DEKA, and Raintree has classes, trainers and the equipment I need to prep for this. I am also working on becoming more centered and lowering my cortisol, and the yoga classes and sound bath class are really helping me achieve better sleep, less stress and more feeling connected to my body and heart than I have in a very long time. The variety of equipment and my amazing personal trainer, Kelly, have helped me achieve so many of my personal fitness goals without getting injured, including a 4 day back pack trip with some girlfriends while carrying 40 pounds. I am currently working with Kelly to compete in my first DEKA and to do a pull up. I will leave you with one last example to demonstrate the extra mile this amazing space goes to to help me meet my personal goals as well as to feel very cared for. The other day I came in and asked Chad how I could measure out 100 meters so I could practice for the DEKA. He told me he would measure it out for me. So literally, I went to my yoga class and he got my spaces all measured out and ready to go!
