They all suck! They are probably okay if you just want one thing, but when you MOVE Ohio and according to Ohio law they can't handle it. Bought car before I left old State, have to get title transferred, new plates, new license. Paid for it all, have to pay to have new car inspection, been here 3 months and still not done. PS, have a passport to boot, but makes no difference, have to get Birth certificate and everything else. Don't ask me, I don't want to live here!!!!! read more

I want to start this by giving a shout out to Veronica, the supervisor whose name I unfortunately, did not get, and all staff scheduled for today, July 18th, around 11:30a at the Medina BMV. As for Karen, the assistant manager you desperately need re-trained and should not have any involvement with customer service in the future. The way you treated me in front of a full lobby of people embarrassed not only me but also your staff and I think you should evaluate that and so should your higher ups. The lack of communication, the dismissiveness to my concerns, and total disregard for the severity of the issue is deeply concerning and should not be an experience anyone should have to deal with. I sincerely hope you apologize to your staff and do a lot of work on yourself as a "leader" moving forward. Again if you ladies see this, please go get a margarita for your hard day and I hope better management is provided to you soon! read more

Most of the people working there (BMV) today seemed competent. But I got stuck with what appears to be a complete failure by the BMV HR reviewer of ensuring basic competency of the BMV person I got stuck with. Couldnt type my info correctly into the system, didn't ask me all the questions until the transaction was complete...clueless, should be working as a bagger or maybe at a used car dealership holding a sign. We had to void the transaction and start over... Have to say, went in a second time and had a great experience with an efficient BMV rep...I just had a very poor one the first time. Lisa the manager here is extremely rude. Cut me off mid sentence every time I spoke, refused to help me with my problem after waiting in line and shoved a card in my face telling me she couldn't help me and and told me I had to call the number on the card with no further explanation. I explained she was very rude and asked if she could simply check in anyway without me calling because I previously already called and been here and asked what I needed to do but I could barely speak without her emphasizing she would not and could not help me. Sat on the phone for another hour in the BMV just for them to tell me that she would be able to check if my forms had arrived not them. After being extremely annoyed I told her what they said and she said oh okay and handled my problem. I again during this process explained to her it would have been nice if she would have explained prior I didn't have to go through the phone call and that I was frustrated because that's what I had already been telling her. Her response was "Do you want service ?" Seriously!! Everyone else was extremely helpful and polite besides her and could tell that she was giving me a hard time. I have never wrote a bad review but a whole day later and I'm still ecstatic by how she treated me and wasted my time. read more

Every TV show ever, in some way has done a show about the horrible experience that is going to the DMV (or BMV here in Ohio just cause). Went to get my sticker today, two days late and what a great experience! It's always quick and even thought these ladies never slow down they are nice, smile and really helpful. read more

Needed a new Driver's License during Covid. Called the local BMV and got a recording that no one was available to answer the phone. Did the online chat and did not get accurate answers the first time. The second attempt did give me some answers. However, I was not prepared for the horrible experience I went through the next day. I and my family have been using this location for many years and have had good experiences for the most part. This is not the case anymore. Maybe Covid has caused all the unnecessary confusion. No one seemed to know what to do. The online system "in line/ online" did not work. It did not save any time as you were just mixed in with everyone else when you arrived. An employee out on the sidewalk was directing people into 2 different lines that were mixed up with with people who did use the online system before hand and others who did not. After 45 minutes of trying to figure out if I was even in the correct line a third line started between the first two. Those people were served way before anyone one in the other two lines. Whenever, I would ask someone if I was in the correct line for renewing a DL, they would shout I will be with you when I can. Signage advertising the "in line/online" system was the only sign around and did not coincide with what people were in line for. Once it was my turn to get served, I could not understand the employee helping me (due to mask). She became very rude when I could not understand her. She argued with me about all my documents for the new compliant DL, even though all were from the list online. All were accepted once I explained each piece. Example, the S.S card was to prove my S.S. number. She said it was not acceptable for my address because it did not have my address printed on the card? No one has their address printed on their S.S. card!?! I had to explain it was to prove my S.S. #. I had to argue each piece of my proof of residency as well. All in all , it was a nightmare. I do not think more people are going to the BMV during this time of social distancing, but apparently, the competent workers have all quit at the Medina location. What an embarrassment!
