Because the ability to withdraw funds was an option through Co-op, Jesus was kind enough to come out to the ATM, to show how to process my transaction. He also explained how to recognize which Credit Unions or Banks this function works. It seems this credit Union processes transactions so much quicker than other Credit Unions.

Their mobile check deposit system is a complete failure. It starts out just like other mobile…read moresystems. You endorse and sign your check for mobile deposited and take front and back pictures but that is where the automation stops. It accepts your check and then there is a person who looks at it and arbitrarily decides whether to accept it or not. My experience is that this person regularly rejects the deposit meaning you have to go to the bank and make the deposit. They always take the same check you just got rejected without any issue. They have a big sign out front claiming to be the most friendly bank but I find them to be a "blame the customer" service. When I try to find out why the mobile deposit didn't work they claim they are just trying to protect me. They never take responsibility or try to solve the problem.

In fact, U.S. Bank ranks as the 5th largest commercial bank in the United States by total assets and domestic deposits. So it seems to cater more to commercial rather than retail customers/individuals. I think most people are more familiar with the top 4 banks in the US, namely JPMorgan Chase which is the largest bank in the U.S. with roughly $4.01 trillion in assets, Bank of America 2nd-largest with about $2.67 trillion in assets, Citi is third with approximately $1.93 trillion in assets, and Wells Fargo is 4th-largest with just around $1.85 trillion in assets. You might've even heard of Capital One which is the 6th-largest bank with roughly $658 billion in holdings. So I learned something about the top banks in the US by looking up US Bank and also found out that US Bank tends to have a regional presence and unlike the Big 4, which have national and even international presence, US Bank operates mostly as a regional bank with a national scale, with a strong presence across the Midwestern and Western United States, which means you'd probably not find any on the East Coast or the Southern part of the US. There's a branch in my neighborhood that's I've never been in until May of this year. I stopped in to change some of my contact info that couldn't be changed online, but prior to this, I did everything online and had been fine doing so. But it was nice that there's a branch pretty close to me so it was convenient. The banker who helped me that day was Abe and he was friendly and helpful. I was able to resolve the problem relatively quickly, and although this branch is older and the age shows inside, it was clean and well-maintained. Besides everyday customers, they seem to also service small businesses quite often too, and not just large commercial customers, so that's good for those looking to bank with a reputable financial institution for their small companies. Overall, I've had good experiences with US Bank and plan to keep working with them.
