It was raining, the taxi driver, I think his name is Dave, offered us an umbrella to take so we would not get wet, so thoughtful! We made arrangements for Dave to pick us up at the end of the train ride. He said he would pick us up at 9:30p. Our train was over 30 minters late arriving back to the station, and Dave was waiting on us. Even though we did keep having communication with each other, I felt so badly he lost this time knowing he could have been more profitable for him if he had not waited so long for us, but we truly appreciated him patiently waiting! When he picked us up, his amazing dog, Sandy was with him. She is the sweetest, loving little girl I have ever seen. Dave said we could hold her and she stayed in the back seat with us until we were back at the resort, just laying so closely by us, so content, one most precious pretty little girl. No one was available to provide me with transportation to RSW. So I booked passage with Surfside Airport Shuttle Service. My ride , scheduled for a 10:00 a. m. Pickup , arrived a few minutes early. Kimberly was my driver and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation en route to the airport. I was the only passenger as the service is exclusive. I noticed that the van in which I was being driven was very clean , inside and outside. This is a small family owned business. The fare was $56.00 for one person or two. More than two people and the price is increased. But 2 can travel for the same price as one, $56.00. We arrived at RSW Airport in plenty of time for me to catch my flight. If in need of airport transportation I would recommend Surfside Airport Shuttle Service. The service is prompt , clean and dependable. He assured me that for $5.00 additional the driver would meet my mother at baggage claim and bring the car for her! WOW! I just heard from Mom and she said the service was exceptional ( amazing knowing my mom)! Pete was waiting at baggage claim with a welcome sign. He retrieved her bags from, escorted her and the bags to the curb while he brought a Lincoln Town car to pick her up ( my father drive a Lincoln Town Car before he passed 19 years ago) . On the short drive home, mom asked if Pete could stop at Jimmy Johns ( located just outside her development) so she could get a sandwich for lunch - he even went in and got it for her! Pete brought moms luggage inside her home and placed it where she could easily unpack it! This was truly SUPERIOR service, I will need transportation for mom again in the fall when she travels for her granddaughters wedding, you can bet I will be calling Superior Airport Shuttle again! Thank you Brian and Pete for making Moms travels so smooth! The $43 fee for meet and greet plus travel was less than $10 more than a cab from RSW to moms cost me 2 weeks earlier- .... can't recommend these guys enough!

Upon arrival at the airport they illegally detained my associate demanding an additional form of payment because they claimed they don't use PayPal. (The business is listed as paypal accepting according to the PayPal vendor list) I explained to them that the business has a PayPal account and showed the receipt where the funds had been deposited in the account. Still they demanded that I pay an additional $200 before they would let her exit the vehicle. I of course paid this so she would be released. What should have been an easy trip to the airport turned into an adventure in extortion and false imprisonment. Later they called to confirm that they did receive the money in their PayPal and will refund it ...... That was 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for a refund.......
