Easy to figure out, even without speaking French. Card reader makes it a breeze to utilize the machines and also purchase detergent. The instructions/card machine has changed from the ones pictured from another reviewer, there are no English instructions. If you feel you may need help, be sure to have a translation app. I think I should have made my loads smaller and that's why my clothes don't feel as clean as they should, so keep that in mind. It did take a medium and high heat cycle to get my clothes *mostly* dry. Worth the time and short walk, will be going again before I move on to the next leg of my trip!

If you don't read French, what you do is put money into the central payment slot. Then press the button corresponding to the washer, dryer, or detergent dispenser that you want to use and the credit will be applied to the device. Then just go and use it. There's a great graphic on their website that tells you when the place tends to be more or less busy. Nick says get your clothes clean and enjoy a stroll around Lyon at the same time.
