You'd be able to see well in any seat. I was really impressed with the production value. The sets were beautiful, the actors were all fantastic and incredible singers. I look forward to coming here for another show! They have a nice lobby for socializing and decent sized bathrooms - the line moved quick at intermission! They have your typical theatre refreshments and friendly staff. The best part is that there is free parking with a handful of different restaurants in walking distance if you wanted to do dinner and a show.

They have a fun gift shop too. My only complaint is the seating. I prefer sitting in the first row here so I can make sure to see everything. The seating isn't raked like a typical theatre, so the second row is lower than the first, for example, so it makes it harder to see if you have a taller person in front of you. You can preorder a drink for intermission which is nice.

The show was great (Swan Lake) but their security has no manners. As such, I have been telling my 9…read moreyear-old son his entire life how disgusting it is to pick your nose with bare fingers, but the security guard on the left side went to town picking away for possibly a good 5 minutes surrounded by people and when I complained to him he dug so much deeper I was shocked that he'd pick out his brain. Of course all my son did the next day was pick his nose with his bare fingers. Don't bring your kids here not your appetite!

The hall in Thunder Bay sounds better (IMHO) but that's subjective of course. The stage crew are very accommodating and help even the musical peons like me find an appropriate set-up so we can be comfortable on stage for the whole show. There is wifi around the back-stage area and the dressing rooms are both abundant and spacious. The crew have a lovely cork-board with an lovely assortment of funny clippings, comics and stuff that will no doubt give you a chuckle while killing time between sound checks and shows. Will I be back? Absolutely! As soon as I'm hired to be.

That being said, I don't go to every show but normally pick two or three a year that most interest me - not including smaller productions downstairs at the McManus or one off concerts or events. Admitedly, it may not have the production values of a big Broadway play but more importantly it doesn't have the cost. The seats are comfortable (well, relatively) the lobby and lounges are well decorated and they often off rotating art and/or interactive displays set up. There is a decent selection of beer and wine to be enjoyed at intermission and even cookies and juice for the kids - all at reasonable prices. Ideally situated in the heart of Richmond Row, it's easy to have a nice dinner beforehand or apres show drinks. I'm always amazed when I hear some people say they've never been as it's always been a part of my life and the cultural experience. I mean - yes, sure -- I've seen some plays that I enjoyed less than others but this can be pretty easily avoided with a little careful selection of what shows to see. London is lucky to have regional theatre of such an amazing caliber and I hope it's around for another 100 years!

One of the dedicated theaters for the Stratford Theatre Festival, they always do amazing work. There's a gift shop outside the Festival. The building itself is beautiful and they sell so many great gift options. The parking is not an issue; they have blocked off a spacious parking lot down the street, but it's expensive. The Festival building is well-maintained and the staff are friendly. There are food and drinks vendors inside if you want to buy food, wine or cocktails.
