The workmanship was very good, and his carpenters were awesome. The electrician and painter he brought in were also amazing. I wasn't totally excited with the siding company but the house looks great. The deck by far exceeded my expectations, it is so well built. With Steve's recommendation we hired an engineer to help with the design. We are constantly getting compliments from neighbours, the deck is so gorgeous. The quote was mid range (we got multiple quotes) and Steve was able to stay within the quote even though there was addition work that had to be done. What we appreciated was that everything was done to code or above code. We will absolutely be hiring GBE Construction in the future.

Called Evergreen Electric on a Friday afternoon about a light switch that had started sizzling and…read moreflickering when turned on. Thinking I'd have to wait until Monday to get someone out here, I asked if it was enough to tape over it so no one would use it till then, or shut the breaker off that controls that switch. They sent Dan, an electrician, out. He arrived in about a half hour, replaced the bad switch, and did a few other jobs for us while here (replaced a light fixture, replaced a defunct smoke detector, and checked on another fixture for us. Dan was very efficient and glad to answer any questions we had. We called Evergreen with an online search, hoping we picked a good one. We did.

Alright let me lay it down how Awesome Winmar really is!…read more We had a leak in our master bath, which decided to run down the walls into our kitchen, and basement! water seeped through the ceiling and walls. Insurance to the rescue, and who do they bring as the repair contractor??? WINMAR. These folks are the best construction people I have ever worked with. They are neat, they are tidy, they actually seem to give a crap about me, my house, and my belongings. They came in assessed the problem, fixed the problem, taped a work hut up in the kitchen to keep the mess down. Removed the damaged items, dried the area out over a few days. Replaced the insulation and drywall, painted the walls, and the entire ceiling. Then when all was said and done, they cleaned the whole are and put our furniture back in place, and dusted it. These folks amaze the hell out of me! If you ever need any kind of repairs done to your home, these guys should be your first and only call!
