Updated review for the new ownership - even better!…read more I have been going to this practice for several years and have been treated by both Dr Twit (the old owner) and Dr West (the new owner). Aaron's made some great changes to the practice including upgraded equipment, now taking insurance, and exceptional talent in adjusting the spine (magic hands?). After my first 3 adjustments several years ago, I was able to bend over more than 30 degrees. In fact, I was able to reach down and touch my toes without pain. Quite a feat for a dude my size. (Full disclosure: I could do this before a recent onset of chronic back pain but it's been a few months). Pain and stiffness in my lower back subsides immediately after each adjustment and, over time, can go longer between adjustments. I have not been pressured - or even offered - to buy anything other than what I came in for. As a bonus, Dr West is extremely friendly and overall a good person. He cares about his patients and is fantastic at diagnosing and treating problem areas. So, if you're searching for a chiropractor, I'd suggest giving this place a ring. If you're not, congratulations on reading a useless (to you) review!

In addition; his ability to quickly address and fix complex muscular and structural problems, makes him standout from the 9 other chiropractors have had. Dr West is Fairfield county's best Chiro. Brian quickly identified the root causes and corrected my posture within weeks. Not only has he fixed my shoulder issues, he also identified my long turn hip joint locking issue not on my radar at all. This takes longer to correct, but when it is eventually fixed, I do feel that my whole body comfort goes to another level. The reason I had chosen Dr. Yomtov was his more holistic view on chiropractic (besides chiropractic, he also practices acupuncture and PAK). Even though he has treated me only with chiropractic manipulation, the influence went beyond my skeleton/muscle problem. I highly recommend Dr. Yomtov for those who appreciate holistic chiropractic treatment.

We came across Dr Berglund last week when my boyfriend had debilitating headaches in the last 3…read moreweeks. I grew up going to a chiropractor in NJ and I knew that it would help him to see one. It was 6:30 PM and my boyfriend was hit with a major migraine. Immediately I googled local chiropractors and found Dr. Berglund (THANKFULLY!!!) However, he was set to close at 7 PM. We called & asked him if we could come within the next 10 minutes & he enthusiastically welcomed us! As soon as you walk in, you notice the office is CLEAN and Dr. Berglund (or his wife!) greets you with an inviting smile. Last week my boyfriend got a consultation & his first ever adjustment! Just observing the consultation, you can tell Dr. Berglund is extremely knowledgeable (which is what you hope for in a chiropractor!!) He is open to answering any questions and really listens when you describe your symptoms / how you're feeling. On top of that, his prices can NOT be beat! Best prices in Stamford.. in Connecticut.. in ANYWHERE! Right after my boyfriend had his adjustment his mind was BLOWN! His headaches haven't been back all week and he couldn't wait to go back (today!) After being completely comfortable with what I saw during my boyfriend's first visit I decided to have my first session with Dr. Berglund today. Just by talking to me, Dr. Berglund had a feeling of what could be cause of my (MANY) issues! Overall, I had a GREAT experience. He is a friendly and intelligent guy that TRULY loves what he does. Even I can't wait to go back!

Dr. Stu, as he likes to call himself, performs a therapeutic technique called Active Release…read moreTechnique or ART, which is amazing. It is not some crazy holistic medicine so I'm not wasting your time. It worked well for me when I first had it done and I was pleased to see the Hospital of Special Surgery, the Top Ranked orthopedic hospital in the country speak highly of ART. I am just surprised that very few people I talk to don't know what it is. What it is - is a soft tissue therapy. Sounds rather harmless, but warning, its not pleasant. But put up with 20 minutes of pain, and you'll feel a lot better. Dr. Stu wants to make you feel better in as few visits as possible - not the usual adjustments, pads, leave you for 20 minutes kaching kaching, see ya again next week and forever. I had a lower back injury - four orthopedic doctors, 3 MRIs, two cortisone shots, and multiple physical therapy sessions later, I felt best after one ART session with Dr. Stu. I still need another session, maybe two. but it's working.
