After having my child at Blue Sprig and discussing issues etc, this was quite disappointing. The good Samaritan (meaning the person who reported an incident exactly like the one Brie had with my son that day) told CPS that they suspected abuse, neglect, etc without even telling us about their concern. We got a call from them saying that they noticed something that we had already mentioned/discussed with Amanda a while ago. Instead of sending all of that backstory to CPS (if indeed he had been abused for over 2 years), they didn't even offer to submit a full report.... not "we already talked about this, so let's straighten it out", not "we have been advising you on this issue, so let me talk with the case worker" and not "let me look into this, because we want to be accurate". No accountability; no checks and balances. read more
