She again wrote the prescription incorrectly refusing to follow the VA pharmacist instructions and manufacturers guidelines. Next, following msgs back and forth, she said that she "would cancel my prescription", which she did. I asked to be put in contact with her supervising physician, Dr Burns. After several days I was contacted by Dr Burns, who did nothing to resolve the problem. I also left messages with Dr Aloi, the department head several times. He did not contact me. Final results was to be referred back to the VA who cannot see me until 11 July, leaving me without medication for over two months. I have been a patient at Wake Forest since 2015, having 3 knee replacements, hip plates installed, plates for broken tibia and fibula, L shoulder replacement and R shoulder surgery as well as four other surgeries. Al of those Doctors were absolutely the best! Perfect service. I have and do recommend Wake as the finest organization I have experienced in my 75 years! The endocrinology department, however, has demonstrated defiance, unprofessional behavior bordering on malpractice without remorse and proven unwilling to assist with the smallest request of help. I was going for my shots during my lunch time at work and it was working out perfectly. The nurse complained and they scheduled me at later in the afternoon so she could change her lunch time. I was also called on my new scheduled day asking if I could come in earlier. If you work a Monday-Friday job I say beware!! They want to inconvenience you as much as possible. I can't stand people not understanding that you have a job as well, and they want you there when it fits them. Not a good way of putting a patient "first"

They have helped me understand what is going on and we are working together to get my health on the right track. What they do is working and I can see it. I do believe there are ways to increase your health besides pharmaceuticals that mask the problem. I have learned what vitamins and minerals I am deficient in and now I take them and use food as well. This was the first group of doctors that would even talk with me about checking those. Believe me I had asks my primary doctor several times and I am now 55 and just getting answers. The only thing they checked was my vitamin D levels, which were off. RIH dug deeper, found other deficiencies and also found I had a mutation that did not allow me to absorb the vitamins properly. Who else would have helped me to discover this? Thank you RIH! I am so happy I found this group of doctors willing to get to the root of the issue and not just give me a pill to mask it!! It is well worth the drive (it takes me an hour) and cost. I can not recommend this practice enough!

I was told that the myoma was too large too remove laproscopically. These were all LIES. A year later I began having horrible pain. I contacted him and he swore it could not be his surgery. I requested appointments and he kept cancelling them and pushing them out. He was intentionally pushing it to pass the 2 year statue of limitations. Later on I discovered he had punctured my intestines during the laparoscopy and was the true reason for the change in plan and my pain. he is DECEITFUL and will put patients´ well being at risk to save his own skin. I switched clinics to do my third IVF with Dr. Yalcinkaya and we were successful! :) It was a great experience with a knowledgeable doctor, can caring nurses / support staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Yalcinkaya and Wake Forest Baptist Health for fertility treatments. Dr. Yalcinkaya is an excellent reproductive endocrinologist.

Within 3 minutes of getting to the area where I waited in my gown, I was greeted by Leah, the radiology technologist. She explained everything to me, was patient and reassuring. She understands that this process is uncomfortable and really takes care to make the patient feel comfortable. She explained that there may be a little delay in getting my results in the portal with the new change over in the system. I appreciated the thoughtfulness! Highly recommend this location!
