When in doubt, call Tom out! Best person for plumbing I have found. I remembered years ago, I used…read morehim at my moms house in Evansville he did her Whole house with PEX after she had a 1400 water will from leak! He was fast and it was a great value, WAY cheaper then other quotes I got for her, she was on a limited income! That was back in erly 2000's and now I needed him since I moved to Oakland City, I feared he only worked certain areas. He got the job done, very skilled in chosen proffession, hard worker, honest, and dependable. His company does not try and milk you for money upfront, like others I have seen. He does the job, does it right, and gets paid when he is done. Hardworking and professional, I do highly recommend him. Now I say always, when in doubt call Tom out! Great service, wish there were more in the world like Tom Wilhite Plumbing, honest and dependable does not get better then that.

This is the type of company everyone wants to do business with. The guys are experienced,…read morecourteous, and have great interpersonal skills. They use great product and work diligently to make sure your project is done to your specs. Most impressive to me, however, wasn't any of the above, but how this company is run from the top by incredible example. Brandon's communication is very dependable while also very unobtrusive. He drops into jobs to make sure the standards are held high--he'll even get his hands dirty himself to get things done properly. He doesn't bait and switch you on pricing, even to his own consequence. He is more helpful and accommodating than quite possibly any other company owner I've met. After sharing quite a bit of time and words with him, it's quite apparent why his company is considered one of the best of the best in south Indiana. He has worked hard to maintain the strong reputation he has come to have, both with new and longtime customers--one of which I believe I'll be for a long time to come.

Beware of adders! Brandon complained about finding screw pops and asked if we wanted him to fix…read morethem or did we want to call the hanger back to fix, which would of course delay the completion of the house. I asked how much of an adder he was talking about and he guesstimated 10-12 hours at $59 per hour. When the final bill came in, he had added 50 hours. Homeowners ask for an estimate for a reason, contractors should keep us informed if there are changes to that estimate. To add an extra 38-40 hours at $59 per hour, without letting us know ahead of time, was not good business. From what I can tell, the quality of the work is good but we're not happy about the unexpected adder.

He has a background in construction and understands what it takes to look at a house and to see if it's up to par or not, this is very important when he is representing you while doing an inspection. Again I've spoken to other inspectors in the past and by talking to this gentleman you can tell that he truly cares about what he does and I would highly recommend Dan!

So glad I called Jeff and his crew to turn my neglected dirty garage into a clean and beautiful…read morespace. They first got everything out, then cleaned the floor. When that dried, they painted the walls and did a wonderful, professional job. Last, they painted the floor, sprinkling the wet paint with decorative small pieces that serve to keep you from slipping if the floor gets wet. It all looks great! In addition , they took care of my "handyman list" tasks , including installation of a new garbage disposal, replacing lightbulbs I couldn't reach, and many more items. The cost was fair and I'm sure they will be back when I get my next list ready! Shirley N.
