Original Review: Earlier this morning around 8:45 AM, I experienced a dangerous encounter with a Quik Care Services vehicle. As I slowed to about 25 mph to turn into my neighborhood, their driver tailgated me, crossed the double yellow line, and honked aggressively. Fortunately, my Tesla's cameras captured the entire incident. While that behavior was unacceptable, the owner's immediate and thoughtful response completely changed my view of the company. Mistakes happen -- what matters is how leadership responds, and this owner handled it exactly the way a responsible community business should.

Then I saw the small building, surrounded by piles and bags of mulch. I walked to the door and opened it. Felt like I was trespassing! Inside was a small office with two employees. There are samples of the mulch types and color. They seemed shocked that I just walked in! No greeting or anything. So I was like hello, I have some questions about the mulch- do you deliver? And the guy said yes. So I inquired about their availability/schedule and they said right before thanksgiving gets busy. So I said what about tomorrow? They said tomorrow is good, two deliveries in the morning and then I can have mine! Perfect. My next question was about how much I'd need. The guy was quick to say he doesn't know because he has never seen my property. So I was a bit stuck. He said the minimum was 3 cubic feet of mulch. I went for double that. Regarding payment, he told me to pay by check when they dropped off. I wouldn't be there so I promised to leave a check in an obvious place for them. I asked for the mulch to be dropped off on my driveway, on my tarp. He agreed. He gave me the price- $215.07. This was including the $45 delivery fee. The delivery was on time and pretty much on the tarp. They found the check and left a receipt in its place. At first I thought I had too much, but as I spread it over the next two days, I began to wonder if I had enough! I still have some left and I am not quite finished with my project. But I'd say it looks really nice and the mulch is quality. Only found a few pieces of random plastic pieces like a Gatorade lid, mixed in. The price, delivery and convenience of this place is unparalleled. Sure, my experience was a little awkward and weird but hey, they sell mulch, not cars. I'd recommend them. They also sell by the bag and by the palette. And if you've got a truck, you can save on the delivery fee by getting it right there. They have a second location in Oviedo.
