He met them in Balboa park and took pictures of each of them individually and then together. Both of my guys came home and said it had been a great experience. Then the photos came...wow! Karl really has a great eye and fast reflexes! 75 pictures taken and they were all spectacular! I was totally blown away! Well done, Karl! We would use Karl Anderson again in a heartbeat! Thank you! We hired this company twice for real estate photography, and after both experiences I would NOT…read morerecommend them. Their photography and editing process relies heavily on bracketing, HDR processing, AI techniques, and outsourced post-production, resulting in photos that looked extremely overprocessed, artificial, and nothing like the home. The editing seemed to compensate for shortcomings in the photography itself. If the images were properly captured and processed, they shouldn't require this level of manipulation. Instead, the final product looked fake, with unrealistic colors and heavy-handed edits. After waiting eight weeks, we still couldn't use the photos to list our home. The biggest issue wasn't just the low quality--it was getting anyone to fix the mistakes. The salesperson, Kate, was genuinely kind and promised all the right things in the beginning, but once the project reached production, communication completely fell apart. We had productive phone calls. I sent detailed lists of corrections with screenshots, then received responses saying they were completed. Then, discovered only part of the list had actually been addressed. This happened repeatedly, requiring constant follow-up. Our Matterport and Zillow tours had mislabeled rooms, and an entire back portion of the house was missing from the floor plans. By the time those issues were finally corrected, we had exchanged 43+ emails and dozens of phone calls over six weeks, and each revision still only fixed part of the list. We finally got the floor plans and tours close enough to done. The photos still weren't right. Some were oversaturated, including a completely fake "dusk" shot that was not actually taken at dusk--it had a pink sky added along with a dirty darkening filter that made the street in front of the house look grimy. We were charged extra for that. Other areas of the home appeared smeared from AI processing, while the brass hardware pulls on the primary closet and bathroom were grayed out. The most baffling example: our white walls kept coming back gray. I even requested the RAW files to understand what was happening during the editing process. The RAW files showed that the original color information was accurate--the walls were white and off-white and the colors were natural. The unrealistic gray walls and closets were introduced during editing and no one would fix it. After several weeks of back-and-forth, I asked to speak directly with Cody, the owner and fellow real estate professional, who explained that his editing team had decided to make them gray because a previous property we had photographed with them had gray walls. I was astounded --- he promised it would be corrected in the next round of revisions and he'd get back to me. He never did. I went back to Marylou in production and waited for days. First, she claimed my email went into her spam folder. Kate caught that, so immediately texted me to make sure I knew it was being worked on. 5 days later, another set of revisions came back - everything still gray, previously removed shadows were added back in, edits we had updated this far were now gone - back to square one. The low quality photos we received look nothing like these examples shown on this Yelp page. Our first project had similar issues, but Cody had stepped in and made corrections early on so I certainly didn't expect to have this happen again. We experienced the same problems again - the quality issues, unrealistic edits, and need for extensive corrections were repeated by his off shore editing team. The lack of quality control and endless revision cycle were, in my opinion, profoundly unprofessional - especially considering that Cody and his team were all made aware that my husband is the Realtor and that we are selling this home. I'd hate to think this was intentional. This wasn't just an inconvenience. Because we couldn't get usable marketing materials for nearly two months, we missed a critical listing window. We requested a refund due to the proven quality issues and ongoing revisions that were not resolved over 8 weeks of time, but Cody refused. If you're a homeowner or Realtor with a time-sensitive listing, I would NEVER hire this company. We gave them every opportunity to make things right and still ended up without photographs we could use to market our home. UPDATE: Cody was not professional enough to return my husband's call -- as if ignoring all these mistakes means his team had done a "good enough" job. You all can see the mistakes in the photos below - it's NOT about 'satisfaction'. You decide if desaturated, AI mistakes are what you want when listing your home. See the silver handle, why can't they fix these simple mistakes?https://projects.truvueproductions.com/listings/019e7f23-2c00-7188-be5d-2443091576d2/download-center#&gid=1&pid=26 Cody NEVER reviewed these photos after asked 3x. Where are the photos from the 2nd trip there?

Both Pauleen and Myro are incredibly talented and professional photographers. Pauleen helped make us feel entirely at ease in front of the camera with her directions and constantly hyping us up. On our wedding day, she knew all the best photo spots at our venue and was able to get us a wide variety of photos for our couple's portraits. Myro did a fantastic job getting photos of all our guests during the cocktail hour. We had several guests compliment how friendly he was and how many people he captured. In the background leading up to our wedding day, the True Photography team helped put a photography timeline that aligned with our wedding coordinator's timeline. This helped ensure we got all the photos needed included first looks, couple's portraits, family portraits, etc. No special moment was missed by the team throughout the wedding. From first looks to dancing at the end of the night, we the full story of our wedding day captured!

Alex, Sheryl, and Dillan were assigned as our wedding day True team! Alex kept us on track with getting important photos and staying within the timeline. Alex was clear on posing directions and had such a calm demeanor/communication style that helped me feel reassured. Sheryl was our second photographer who captured the best candids and fun moments (e.g. one of the groomsmen had his shirt off and I didn't know until we saw the photos! HAHA). Dillan was here, there, and everywhere to get the best angles for our first dance, games, and guest reactions. Looking at our photos, I'm floored with how beautiful they turned out! The wedding day came and went like a flash, but now we have sooo many photos to remind us of the happy and heartwarming moments from that day. Excited to see how the videos turn out! Highly recommend considering True Photography & Video!
