If you're someone who has dental anxiety, or you've put off going to the dentist for years because…read moreyou're scared, embarrassed, or worried about being judged, this review is for you. I had excellent dental care growing up until I was about 14, but I also had a traumatic experience as a child when I flipped over my bike, knocked several teeth out, and had to be strapped into a chair while a dentist worked on them. That experience stayed with me. After my parents divorced, going to the dentist stopped being a priority, and despite brushing my teeth every day, I avoided dental visits for years. Eventually, I started having tooth pain and assumed I had one bad tooth. It turned out I needed two root canals and multiple fillings. To say I was terrified would be an understatement. One of the biggest fears about returning to the dentist after a long time is the feeling that you'll be judged. Dr. French completely erased that fear. She has been nothing but kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring from day one. She's the type of person who instantly makes you feel comfortable, and honestly, she's just an incredibly cool person. The hygienists and the rest of the staff are just as wonderful. Every single person in the office is warm, welcoming, and makes you feel like they genuinely care about you. The office itself is beautiful and has such a calming atmosphere. Then there's the fear of pain. I can honestly say I experienced virtually none. Dr. French referred me to Dr. Baines at San Jose Endodontics for my root canals, and I couldn't have asked for a better referral. Both root canals were completely painless. They prescribed ibuprofen afterward, and I never even needed it. Back at Willow Glen Dental, I was also genuinely impressed by how much they've invested in technology. It's not just a beautiful office--it feels like they've made a real commitment to giving patients the best experience possible. After my root canals, they digitally scanned my teeth, designed my crowns, and milled them right there in the office. I took about an hour to an hour-and-a-half break, came back, and had both permanent crowns placed that same day. No temporary crowns. No waiting weeks. As someone who hadn't been to the dentist in years, I had no idea dentistry had come this far, and it made the entire process incredibly convenient. The same was true for my fillings and every other procedure I've had. Throughout every appointment, the team made sure I was comfortable, answered every question, and never rushed me. Yesterday I finished the restorative portion of my treatment plan after about a year and a half of care. Dr. French joked, "Last round!" and then laughed that I was probably tired of seeing them. I surprised myself with my response: "Honestly... I used to have really bad dental anxiety, and now I don't." And I truly meant it. That's one of the greatest gifts this office has given me. They didn't just fix my teeth--they completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. I never thought I'd be someone who could walk into a dental appointment feeling relaxed, but that's exactly how I feel now. I've already recommended Willow Glen Dental and Dr. French to several friends, and I'll continue recommending them to anyone who asks. (Just don't book Dr. French too solid--I still need my appointments! ) As long as I live in the Bay Area, this is where I'll be coming for my dental care. Dr. French is nothing short of amazing. I don't know what kind of magic she works, but she's incredible. Thank you, Dr. French, Dr. Baines, and the entire Willow Glen Dental team for giving me back not only my smile, but my confidence and peace of mind. 10/10. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I've been a loyal patient at…read moreSanta Clara Family Dental for years and always trusted the care I received from Dr. Sajid and her wonderful dental hygienist. Unfortunately, my most recent experience left me deeply disappointed and concerned. At my last checkup, I was unexpectedly scheduled with a new provider at the practice. During that visit, I was told I had four cavities--which completely took me by surprise, as I've never had that many before. Trusting their judgment, I scheduled to have all four filled in the same day. From the moment the new doctor began working on my teeth, it was clear to me she lacked experience. She overfilled my teeth, which left me with an uneven bite and made eating extremely uncomfortable. I had to return the following week to have her fix them. That fix, unfortunately, led to another issue--she over-filed my teeth, and ever since, I've experienced noticeable tooth sensitivity and my newly filled teeth seem to be shorter than before. It has only been a year since I got them and already can tell they need to be replaced. It breaks my heart because I've always taken great care of my teeth, and now I genuinely feel like irreversible damage has been done. I strongly advise anyone visiting this office to request Dr. Sajid specifically and be cautious of being scheduled with the newer providers. I've learned my lesson the hard way, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same mistake.

While my daughter didn't have terrible previous dental experiences, she never got into the groove of things when it came down to actually coming in. I reached out to the office and was able to schedule something in fairly quickly. Thank you, Indi, for being so professional, kind, and informative- you truly are a wiz at what you do! Fast forward to the visit: My daughter and I were immediately greeted with Indi's warm smile. I can't think of a better first person to meet & interact with upon arrival. The vibes of the office was warm, welcoming, and immediately put me at ease. Forms were provided and in no time at all, we were brought back. Shout out to the hygienist, Marrysa!! Thank you for taking the time to allow for my toddler to warm up. I appreciated the patience you showed and the extra efforts you made to walk my child through the entire process/visit. Thank you Cathy for chiming in with the assist and making the appointment seamless. Your lovely smile and calm demeanor gave my child a little extra pep in her step. Lastly, thank you Dr. Delong for the prompt evaluation & putting this mama's nerves at ease. The eval was quick but it did not compromise the quality in any shape or form. For those of you in need of a gentle doc, he is THE MAN! 5/5 stars. I honestly didn't expect for the appointment to go so well. Check out was just as fast as check in! Indi was proactive in covering the next scheduled cleaning and the other girls quickly put together a goodie bag. My child left asking when she would be back. Lol. While explaining to her that our next visit would be in 6 months she eagerly responded with wanting to come back "EVERY WEEK"!!! If that doesn't speak volumes, idk what would. Thank you Dr. D Delong & thank you ladies- customer service and patient interaction doesn't get any better than this!

When I asked why, the admin just said "I don't really know, no one is being scheduled to come in that day." I then had to schedule a month out from that day because that was the first day that was available that worked with my schedule. Then, a day before my new appointment, I get a call saying that they have me scheduled for a general checkup and I'm not scheduled for a cleaning. When asked why, she explained that they do not include a cleaning automatically, and that it needs to be scheduled 6 months out to have an exam and cleaning in the same appointment. I told her I did exactly that, but when the other admin rescheduled me, she did not add the cleaning. I had already moved clients around to make that new appointment time work only to be told that a mistake was made on their end not once, but twice. There wasn't another appointment that worked with my schedule for another 2 months! I do have a hectic schedule with limited availability, but that's why I scheduled 6 months out. Also, both admins I talked to were standoffish and didn't take accountability for the clinic's mistakes. If you value helpful staff and scheduling consistency, go elsewhere.

However I recently went back in twice and the experience is no longer the same sadly. The staff became more confrontational and seem to don't have a clue of what they're doing. When asked to be more gentle due to personal health reasons, she essentially told me to let her do her job. I feel humiliated and disrespected after walking out of there today. Will not be back. She also made the front desk call me three times an hour before my appointment to see if I can go in early to accommodate her schedule because she got done with her other appointments early. Zero respect to customer's time. And when I show up on time, she gave me the rude attitude. What a ridiculous service experience.
