And the name Local Soul couldn't be more perfect since most of the goods are sourced/created locally, the owners are proud Wiltonians and the space is tucked neatly into the heart of town center. My mom, godmother & mother in law were already in tears seeing how perfect it fit me and how it was everything I had envisioned! Since she knew I loved a sparkle element, she also found me the most perfect veil full of Swarovski crystals that added the element I wanted Not only did Plumed Serpent help me find my dream dress, but once I heard they had an in house seamstress, I knew this was my place. From my first alteration appointment, I knew working with Lissa would be a dream - she had the same eye for perfection as me, and we were on the same page for everything! She made sure my dress fit me perfectly for my big day, leaving me with zero worries. She even added multiple bustle options so I had choices depending on how I felt on my wedding day! All night I kept hearing compliments on how it looked like the dress was truly made for me. The owner was not helpful at all, instead she made me feel so uncomfortable when she told me that I must have lost "so much" weight and it was my fault the dress was too big on me. I was 113 lbs when I ordered my dress and they ordered me a size 10. I wish I had gotten my dress somewhere else. This store ruined my wedding dress shopping experience.

Those shops have a lot of toys, but I also find them to be overwhelming. In contrast, Wild Child has a highly curated and diverse selection of toys including some toys I've never seen and some from top brands. They have every category covered - we saw cute little books, Tonies, dolls, doll strollers, arts and crafts projects, beaded jewelry, balls, cars, a wooden trike, a variety of Montessori-friendly wooden toys, and so much more. Wild Child would be great for birthday gifts or your own children. There's something for all ages. The shop owner is very knowledgable and can help you find the perfect toy! Prices are very reasonable. It's definitely worth visiting, except on Mondays when they're closed. We're so happy to have this great toy store in the heart of Wilton right by Scoops ice cream. The location is perfect. We can't wait to see what treasures we'll find here in the future.

Yes, they most definitely carried clothes for the typical mommies running around Fairfield County. To me, it was like I found their uniform shop - lol! But aside from these "typical uniforms" you see on most of the local Stepford wives, Chou Chou also carried plenty of unique, interesting clothing & accessories. I happily walked out with some nice new clothes. What was most impressive was the helpful and friendly staff. Where do you get that type of service these days? In very few places, sad to say. Here at Chou Chou, the staff was excellent. I will most definitely make this place part of my shopping arsenal from here on in.
