Service! We came in and the key that we've got wasn't working. We changed it twice and still nothing. The door was open with the master key and we didn't have a room key at all!!! Such a cute nice hotel in a sweet little friendly town. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Beds are comfy and lots of bedding. Our room has a door on the outside and we parked right in front. It also has a door on the inside of the hotel which was wonderful. The room has a fridge, microwave and dresser. I would for sure stay here when I visit again! read more

Four stars is only because I have stayed in 5 star hotels in New York, Washington DC, Vancouver, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico City, you can get the idea. I have also stayed in motels/hotels in small towns in Mexico, and the US, as small as Riverton, WY. I've stayed in places that I was grateful for a shower and toilet, one even overlooking a dump site, one with a noisy wall air conditioner; one, unfortunately, that was a nightmare (bedbugs). THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Clean, well maintained, well located, well staffed, and the staff is amazing. The breakfast is top-notch: a "hot" option room, and a "cold" option room. Quiet room. Included daily bed making, bathroom cleaning, and vacuuming, and good quality travel sized basics shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, makeup remover/facial cleanser towelettes, and two soap bars; two bottles of water, and a bucket for ice; hairdryer. Coffee at 4 am, hot breakfast at 5 am (make-your-own pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon, amazing hot breakfast sandwiches). The ice machine worked well. The typical option of fresh towels daily if wanted, or conserve water by reusing them. We had a room with two queens, a microwave and a refrigerator big enough for our milk, sandwich makings, yogurts, and leftovers from Ma Familia next door (also a great place!). I have no complaints. I wouldn't plan to watch TV, or to expect partying after 9 pm: It's quiet here. Meeker is an old Western US town, small "Americana". We were here at the end of the Aspen color fall, hunting season, of which was well out of town. Beautiful. This is small town America, not big city. read more

We stayed here before my wife's surgery. The room was clean and well maintained. Check in was easy and they were very accommodating to put us on a first floor room. Didn't see anyone wearing a mask, which was a bummer. Lots of parking and close proximity to a number of places to eat. We will return in a couple of months. read more

I can't say enough in praise of both the Blue Spruce Inn in Meeker, Co itself, and its staff as well. My wheelchar accessible room was clean and tidy; I was facing a serious surgery the next day, so I was quite thankful that it was quiet. The next morning, the continental breakfast looked great, but I wasn't able to eat as it was the day of my surgery (however they let me scarf some fruit for later!). The lady at the desk graciously carried my suitcases for me, and as I sat in the lobby awaiting my ride for the disabled to rhe hospital, the "Meeker Streaker," I got into a conversation with the two desk clerks. I am a service-connected disabled veteran, and the son of one of the ladies was also in the military. We talked about the upcoming Veteran's Day and the difficulties of life in the military. My bus came, and I was taken to the hospital, where my surgery was performed. When I got to my room, there was a beautiful floral arrangement in a basket waiting for me!. I couldn't imagine who would send me flowers, so someone handed me the card--it said, "Thank you again for your service, and take care"--and was signed "The Blue Spruce Inn staff"! Considering I am essentially alone now with the exception of a very dear friend of nearly 50 years (who unfortunately lives in another state now!), I can't adequately express how deeply thankful I was for such a beautiful gift of love! It was just what I needed to warm my heart, so thanks again, Blue Spruce Inn! read more

If your standards are low and you like to waste your money then you should stay here. The beds are not comfortable, and my room had a funny smell. Definitely a room over you head for the night, if you absolutely need a place to rest. The front desk girl was friendly and helpful. Other than that I will stay away. read more

I'd never been to Meeker, Colorado, before, so I basically just picked the Blue Spruce Inn because, well, it was the first that came up on Google. I'm glad I did -- this is a nice place. The pluses? Friendly staff, spacious rooms, good WiFi, modern furnishings and plumbing, continental breakfast, an easy one or two block walk from the stores and cafes (etc.) in town, and it's inexpensive. Had only 3 small hand towels in the room, a chipped out piece on the flooring of the tub about the size of a sand dollar. Then charged me 80$ for towels that were never even there to begin with read more

My family and I have stayed here three times. The first was great, room was clean spacious plenty of pillows and towels both very important when you travel with kids. The second stay everything except for towels we had only two shower towels with four people for two days. The first night was great however the second night our neighbors couldn't have made the stay worse. Very loud and annoying waking me and my baby up several times. I understand people will be people and hotels can not control their guests but they were not very booked I only saw four or five cars in the parking lot so maybe spread people put more. Took us in late at night when we were too tired to continue driving. Also took in our dog! Had a lovely room with a comfy bed, everything beautifully clean, including what looked like clean carpet. Gracious, friendly staff. Even a good Italian restaurant next door. Highly recommend. read more
