Quan misunderstood that she did not contract for the replacing of the lawn pieces. However, the business owner Kory stated that he is willing to do this on her behalf without charge. I am therefore correcting my rating since it was my misunderstanding and not the plumber, Kory Rushing. (Old review no longer valid) Company owner, Kory Rushing was "paid in full" for plumbing repair work on my friends (Quan) property in San Jose and did not finish the job. A section of lawn needs to be replaced over a ditch on the front lawn. The owner's wife, Skylee Rushing was contacted twice via phone (3/19/24 & 4/4/24) requesting that the job get finished. Both times Skylee stated that her husband or crew would be over to finish replacing the lawn pieces. The owner, Kory nor his crew ever showed up or called. The job still remains unfinished. I, Dale Kuersten am representing the property owner (Quan) a 77 year old Thai woman who doesn't speak english clearly and feels she's been taken advantage of. All she wants is the job finished as she is unable to resolve this by herself. From their website: "We provide the expertise, attention to detail, and guarantees that you can rely on to make sure your project is done right." I don't think so! Decent value for hard/landscaping but I experienced some baits and switches with some of the items…read morewe agreed would be installed versus what was eventually installed. Avoid their maintenance. Really poor work here and quite costly. My drip system, lights, and- crucially- my plants are all significantly worse off after 2 years of bi-weekly maintenance. There's no actual expertise or care put into this. It's a blow and go with some very amateur pruning. That's about it. Lawn and several shrubs dying. Mature trees and shrubs had limbs hacked (and in a few cases, just ripped/broken off) using unhealthy methods. Drip system has been broken for over 1+ years with continual promises to check on it and fix but follow through was never there. Very unfortunate.

We got 3 quotes from a few different Yelp-researched companies, and Greenway's was the best. They perfectly matched the existing carpet and expertly installed it - you can't even tell where the transitions from new to old are. The second time was after we had a water leak that flooded a bedroom and ruined the carpet pad. This time, I just called Greenway without calling around and they installed new padding and the existing carpet on the same day that I called. The last time, we had some carpet that needed patching in some doorways and they again installed it quickly. These guys do great work, give 'em a call!

During that shut-down, he lost his crew, had other personal troubles, and was unable to complete the job. Antolin and the Imagine Unique crew stepped up and saved us. They not only completed the last bit of undone work, but also got stuck doing "the other guy's" punch list. They happily fixed the problems the first crew left behind (a leaky pipe, a valve installed wrong...), and creatively put in finishing touches far beyond what our original contractor could have done. The crew was professional and punctual, and worked hard. They did a fantastic, beautiful job in record time, and for a fair price. We would gladly have them back again for another project (maybe kitchen next?).

There were a few spots that my wife and I expected would look a little different. He finished the job while we were out, so I called him. He brought his crew back 2 days later and went over what we we wanted. One of the differences was that he trimmed a tree a little differently because he felt it was better for the health of the tree. We said we'd like it a different way for appearance, and they went ahead and did it they way we wanted (fingers crossed that the tree will be OK!). Will be using him in the future!
