It has a great upbeat atmosphere, with great staff, staff that are so sure of themselves that on every visit, a waiter has tried to seduce someone on my table. It is a typical Italian restaurant, with plenty of space and a decent menu. I love my seafood and for a starter I have always had the seafood salad, not because I am trying to keep to a regime, but simply because it is delicious. On my most recent visit earlier this year, I had the speciality, which is Mamma's Meatballs and pasta, and I highly recommend it. The tiramisu is great too. I actually just got an invite for a friends birthday there for next weekend, and that is hat reminded me to tell you about Fantozzi. I might try a different mains, but know I will be having that seafood salad and tiramisu. Just to add, if you o plan on going to Fantozzi, an it is over the weekend, you better book, otherwise you will definitely have a real long wait. It is a very popular restaurant, and deservedly so.

You walk into this loud and chatty room full of people laughing, drinking and eating wholesomely. It's a wide space but nonetheless, rather crowded and always full on weekends. The food, I have to say is a good menu. The taste is also good. I couldn't say brilliant but for the very decent price, it's not bad at all. The pizzas are yummy and have a good variety as well as the pasta dishes. The main courses include veal escalopes which in my opinion is rather tasty. Moving onto the service.. Very Italian. Quick, chatty and all have Italian accents. They're very rush rush but is understandable due to the busy service. All in all, a great restaurant to bring friends for a fun chat on both weekdays or weekends. Expect loudness.

But step inside and you will be overwhelmed with the the effusive friendliness of Carmella who runs the front of house like a typical Italian mother, wanting an update on all your family news and likewise bringing you up to speed with hers. Meantime husband Rocco is cooking the most delicious food in his tiny kitchen, whilst various other family members are roped in to help serve. Unfortunately I just so love their Scaloppa Milanese -Veal in breadcrumbs - (and never have anything else!) that I cannot speak for the remainder of the menu which includes many other veal varieties and a huge selection of pastas. I always have Minestone soup as a starter, but yesterday my son had Bianchetti Fritti (fried whitebait) which he said was fantastic (and served in such huge quantity that it could have been a main meal). He also had Linguine Lobster which as a cookery fan he said was truly delicious. Prices are reasonable, but the taste and quality of the food is up there with the best - go try it! It's the secret gem of the Barnet/Finchley area.

Thank God for Sole d'Oro, part of the Saracino pizza chain, authentic Neapolitan pizza with oomph! I ordered my usual, 4 seasons, which appeared as if by magic from the wood fired oven within minutes. This place has had about a dozen different owners in the last few years…read more... The new owners have done a great job as the food is tasty, filling and at very reasonable price... Unlike the staff at nearby Rimini the staff are polite and friendly..... Had great food here tonight, the veal and aubergines with cream and truffle olive oil was like a coronary sent from heaven. Will have to jog twice as hard to shift the inches the food has added to my belly My girlfriend had the seabass with tomatoes...which was perfectly balanced... not too sweet like tomato sauces can so easily be.... The fish perfectly cooked...but it would have been nicer if the skin was just that bit crispier The veg was great, luckily my girl was kind enough to take my beans and give me her broccoli. The bread which was homemade, was wonderfully nutty especially when I asked it to be toasted, and absorbed the flavours of the both dishes beautifully Looking forward to coming back.... The best Italian food I have had since I ate in Manhattan.. This place is a massive improvement from what used to be here before... hopefully this place is here to stay Thanks to Louis and his staff for having us....

I walked with my girlfriend on a Saturday night and all of them were full, except Prezzo. It's probably because it's formula Italian chain restaurant feel and same old menu that you find in the likes of pizza express etc etc, that this is the case. It certainly wasn't bad but was a little bit boring. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was perfectly nice. It does exactly the job it sets out to do but lacks sparkle. Maybe it's just that I'm spoilt for choice in London.

We only live 2 minutes away from Prezzos, so it's like the chef gave it a complimentary ice bath. The pizzas taste was mostly bland and even reheated dull. Then there's the Garlic Bread. You'd think they would be more creative than actually getting pizza crust and dusting only 1/10th of the slice of pizza crust with oregano and call it garlic bread. It was depressing just looking at it, I felt so bad I had to put it out of it's misery in the trash. Finally, there's the Lobster and Crab raviolli. Oh boy, was I awaiting a nice fresh lobster and crab taste to infiltrate my cavern of already prezzo dissapointment. Lo and behold, it was utter trash, and tasted like my nan threw the raviolli in the toilet and put habanero peppers on it. Tl;dr, this place is absolutely horrible don't waste 50quid on dissapointment. I wouldn't even give it 1 star.
