Low quality, or should I say "rough" construction on fine tuning details that left us puzzled. Never the same workers and we could over hear their conversations at times which made it more embarrassing. We closed on our Hudson 55 model Bridgewater home built in the Sonders neighborhood in November of…read more2025. It has been 3 months post closing when I am writing this review. To start with we have had a great experience with Bridgewater and all the staff (Holly, Nate & Kyle). We feel we are lucky to have had Bridgewater as the builder. We have previously owned 3 different homes in 3 different cities over 30+ years, but this was our first new home build. Many of our friends told us how much of a headache building a new home would be and how painful the process would be; it wasn't a headache and it wasn't painful mainly due to Bridgewater. It did take some significant effort to understand and research all the options and focus on the decisions to be made, but that level of work was expected. We chose a lot of options, +2 ft to the back of the house, +4 ft to the front of the garage, +2 ft to the side of garage, finished our basement, and too many others to name. We were able to add some Tharp custom cabinets in our laundry room that turned out awesome. My suggestion is to ask others what options they chose and really like, what options they didn't choose and wish they had chosen. Read through the long options list many times, understand it, think about the things you can change later if needed vs. the ones that are more permanent. The work and decisions that need to be made in building a home are not easy but can be rewarding. I truly have a house I love, reach out if you a have question I can answer. Also I've read all the reviews and nothing is perfect, understood. It seems the years around the covid pandemic must have been a challenging time to build a house or have a house built. I wish that I didn't have to write this review, but I feel that anyone that is considering…read moreBridgewater for their next home should hear about our experience. This company builds a great home, we are in no way dissatisfied with the quality. Their customer service is where they dropped the ball with us. We signed the contract to build this home in late April of 2021 with a completion date of November 17th, 2021. We knew that this date would likely be pushed back a bit due to supply chain issues and labor shortages, but we didn't end up closing until April 29th, 2022. During this time, we were misled, ignored or flat out lied to by the representative we were working with. Her name is Cynthia Murphy and I highly suggest avoiding her as your salesperson. After quite a few months of this, we started working with Holly Braning and she is the one person that actually treated us with respect and did an amazing job. My dissatisfaction extends all the way up to the owner of Bridgewater. When I spoke with her about our experience and tried to hold them financially accountable for an option that we were told was included but wasn't, she told me that we were lucky that they were even honoring their contract with us! There is a certain way that I conduct myself in business dealings, and I don't care what the situation is, I would never say that to a client. We closed over a month ago on this home, and we still don't have the front yard landscaping installed (which is provided by Bridgewater). There are two incomplete homes on our street that have their landscaping installed, but ours is still missing. During the punch-list walk 1 week before closing, there was a long list of touchups that needed to be done, and nothing has been completed or even scheduled. The lot was never cleaned and there are nails and construction trash all over the front and back yards. We have blue and green tape all over the house and every time I see it, I wonder why they have decided that we don't deserve to be treated as well as all of the people who have left great reviews on this same site. We had such high hopes for this project because Bridgewater has an amazing reputation. Because of the way we were treated not only will we never build with them again, but I will make it a point to tell everyone I know to never use them either.

We hired Tony and his brother Clemente (CP Carpentry LLC) to demolish a rotting pergola over our…read morefront door and replace it with a new cedar pergola. They did a beautiful job! They were quick to return my calls and very responsive. It was a fairly involved project as the beams in the original pergola went under the roof and attached to the house joists. They were very knowledgeable and have had a wide variety of experience, so this presented no problem for them and they were also able to reshingle the roofing that had to be removed for the project. They also gave me good aesthetic suggestions for the new pergola. The work was completed in a timely manner and they always had the area spotless at the end of a day. I will definitely be hiring them for future work at my home as their work was very high quality.

I would not recommend or ever hire Tony with Prado construction again. We hired him for several…read morereasons that he seemed like a real go getter and skilled in the trades that he presented himself being qualified to perform specific jobs. What we were left with was a multitude of problems costing us (his customer) thousands of dollars in weeks of lost time and material. 1. Tony would leave major messes and not clean up after himself from paint and drywall stains on the back patio, roofing debris all over the yard, he left our equipment dirty and would not return it clean as he received it. Many of these items he left his customer to clean up after him. 2. Tony was hired to do several tile jobs. He was close to the end on one job and was paid in full to finish as we had to leave to go pick up supplies. Well, Tony left too with our money and did not finish the fire place job. 4 months went by and we eventually had to finish it ourselves. 3. Tony was hired to do framing as he states on the side of his truck that he does construction. He built several walls, of which the main wall in the basement was a full 1" out of plumb. Another wall had a 1/2" gap between a king stud and the top plate. You could pass your hand between. 4. Tony was hired to do drywall. His drywall cuts are very amateur and we had to fix many problems around outlet boxes and corners. None of these he fixed. They were left for his customer to repair. 5. Tony pinched two wires behind drywall and one in particular he did not secure a wire in a ceiling and drove a screw through the wire shorting out the circuit. I informed Tony of these two issues and he pushed blame onto his customer as if we somehow cut the wire. 6. Tony was hired to do texture on two floors. He sped through the top floor leaving a obvious too light texture which we had 3 different textures in the house. He said he would fix the top floor but never showed up and his customer spent 3 days redoing the work over. Tony appears to do whatever it takes to get paid then vanish. He leaves unfinished work, and large messes for his customer to deal with. He is not a licensed contractor but charges like one. It is in my opinion that he is a shark scamming homeowners out of money. He can do tile decent but he is still an amateur posing as a licensed general contractor. He is doing jobs for other people that require permits and not pulling them. Do not hire this hustler.
