It's nice that they have 2 separate areas, but also a bit confusing since they're not next to each other. It's also not made clear that you have to stand in line to order your food, servers won't come to your table to take your order. Some of the workers are also a bit rude. Nevertheless the chai lattes are lovely and it's a great place to study (with free wifi!) if you can snag a good table in the front!

The atmosphere is fairly unique in that there is only one "table for two" the other two tables are larger refectory style tables. The impact of this is you tend to talk to strangers and sometimes they actually become friends. It is a lovely intimate environment, located just over the bridge going into Murwillumbah (opposite the RSL).

This little Deli is an absolute gem! They sell a range of cheeses and they have a cabnet of smoked…read moremeats, salami's, sausages and even smoked rib bones etc. they also stock a lot of European canned goods like rose hip jam, sauerkraut, sauces, sweet treats and cakes, eggs and a whole variety of delicious goods. I love walking into this deli because it smells amazing. I love the smell of smoked meats. They have a smaller freezer as well and they have a range of pastizzis and pastas. They ladies are always so nice and helpful and are great at finely slicing the meats when requested. There aren't many deli's on the Gold Coast and it's nice to find one that has been around for a while with great service, good prices and good service! I really like visiting this place and picking up some kaiserfleish, ham deluxe, smoked pork neck or a tasty hunters sausage!

Harbour Side Markets is my kind of store - from the typography of the logo to the items stocked. Imagine James Street Markets but in the midst of industrial Harbourtown / Helensvale. I grabbed a small salad ($4.90) from the deli (a mix of beetroot, pumpkin and pinenut & pear, walnut and fetta) which was ample for a late lunch. It was fresh enough, but the ingredients that should have made each salad stand out was missing in place of a lot of baby spinach. If you're in the area or live near by what an absolute treasure!
