Katelyn Mensing has been a lifesaver for our family, as our daughter has experienced psychosis. During my daughter's first episode, I was lost. The mental healthcare system is confusing, and accessibility can be limited if you don't know where to turn. We were desperate - we got a list of potential therapists from a hospital and reviewed the bios of the therapists. Katelyn's bio stood out, so we called her first and left a message. Before we could even call the third therapist, Katelyn was calling us back. She was willing to see my daughter that evening, staying very late to accommodate her first therapy appointment. Since that day, Katelyn has been the single most important person in my daughter's recovery and healing. What is as important to me is how available Katelyn has been to support our family as we supported our daughter through her most difficult times in life. I am grateful to share that our daughter is healing after seeing Katelyn consistently for the past few years. I would recommend Katelyn and her team to anyone who is seeking help during a difficult time of mental health. read more

We are a group of therapists who focus on healing individuals through using neuro-therapies. We aim to treat you in a fast and effective way. We are finding that trauma is the root of most mental health disorders and neuro-therapies have proven to be a powerful bottom-up approach to treat it. We use neuro-therapies (Brainspotting, EMDR, and Flash) to reprocess the traumatic memory that holds the pain and this reprograms the belief system, releases the negative feelings, and moves the body sensations created from your trauma out of your body. Once this process is complete, you will find that you will think, feel, and behave differently. We also use IFS and/or Ego States Therapy in conjunction with the Neuro-therapies and this will help you have more compassion for yourself and enable you to make connections to why you do the things that you do.

I've been working with Katlyn at Blue Moon Therapy for trauma therapy, and the experience has been incredibly positive. In just a few months, I've noticed a significant reduction in anxiety and triggers that used to affect my daily life. Katlyn uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to help process trauma and reconnect with parts of yourself, and she is very skilled at creating a safe and supportive environment. If you're looking for trauma therapy, I highly recommend being open and honest in your sessions with her. The process can be challenging, but the results are absolutely worth it. Katlyn's approach helps you move forward with a renewed sense of peace and well-being. The office has a really nice public lobby where you wait for your session with a cafe near the lobby. read more
