Given its location in the tiny Hurstville arcade next to the big Westfield, most people will hardly even notice. But if you're looking to snap up a cheap buy for a girl's night out or need a clubbing outfit ASAP, then this is the sort of place that you're looking for. The dress styles available are fairly typical of the current clubbing scene (obviously depending on where you choose on heading out), but this place easily caters for the fresh-faced eighteen year old - where you'll get your figure-hugging dresses that dip a little lower than the panty line. It's the kind of place that appears to copy a lot of the current trends but will only charge you a fraction of the price. With that said, you can expect to pay within the price range of $20-$60. Of course with spending this amount you can expect the use of lower quality materials and craftsmanship. But what's a few spare threads here and there when it's become the norm to wear a dress only once for an occasion?

What I find bizarre is their belly dancing skirt section - plastic coin wraps strung on coloured material that takes up the back wall. It's been there as long as I remember. They have some pretty decent finds if you're willing to hunt around for them. The clothes at the front are usually sale items that can go for as low as $5 and there's a lot of them to choose from. Clothes that aren't on sale can reach as much as $60 but I wouldn't bet on anything more than that. It's easy to find, if you're heading from the Hurstville Arcade, go straight into the shopping centre and it's the first store on your left.

Thinking I'd be in for a bargain, I snuck in a quick look at what clothes they had on sale. Unfortunately, none of the things there were particularly to my taste - or clothes that I thought I could find cheaper at an arcade store. Then again, the shop caters to a late twenties or thirties market so it's a little out of my age bracket. What I mean by this is they weren't clothes that I'd wear to go clubbing or anything. It's quite a small boutique, right on one of the roads leading to the train station, so I'd expect plenty of commuters walking by. Maybe they'll have better luck than me finding something they like.

I wouldn't ordinarily go into a shop like Temt to look for clothes. But I was on a search for black…read moretops to wear for work. We need to wear black shirts of some description and spend the day driving around and outside, so in the summer months I needed something a bit flimsy that wasn't so hot, like the 10 long sleeved black shirts I already have. I thought Temt would provide, but it didn't. It seems that black is not a summer colour. I did, however, find a bright horizontal striped tee-shirt which was a mix of navy, terracotta and white stripes. As is the case when you are shopping for something specific, you always seem to get everything but that thing. So I got a tee-shirt. The chick at the cash register didn't smile, even after I smiled encouragingly at her, and she didn't bother to say anything really as she processed the transaction. Clearly I was doing her a favour!

I bought about 9 items at the store - and then 2 weeks later I exchanged 3 out of these 9. Out of the 3 items I exchanged them for, one skirt didn't fit me well when I came to sit down, so 2 weeks later I went in to exchange this skirt. I was refused the exchange by the retail staff because 'I hadn't paid for this item' as in the receipt I showed her was that the item was exchanged and I didn't pay extra for it the second time i went it. I called the customer service desk, who were unsure if this was even a policy of the clothing store. They said they would get back to me. That was in November. I have called at least 7 times since then, each time being advised that someone will get back to me. I have also emailed - and have not received a call to resolve this from anyone. It's now almost the end of January- I'll be donating the skirt and will never buy anything from Temt Clothing again.

So if you ever wanted to buy nice cloths at a really good price look no further. They selling all the famous American sports shirts, jerseys etc plus pants, shorts, shoes & formal for both men & women & kids. They also sell nick nacks like luggage & toys aswell. Its the higher end of St vinnies or Salvos & everything sold is brand new of course :). The place is super big with heaps of stuff for anyone's taste so even if you don't have to shop on a budget it's a really cool place to check out :D!!

It is also right at the top of the shopping strip. In a lower room (just a couple of steps down) is furniture. Good quality lounges, wardrobes, shelves and desks for example. In an ante room was men's and kids clothing, and also women's sleep attire and dresses. Toys were in there as well. A good number of tracks contained the men gear. Denim, trousers, jackets, shirts, tees, ties, belts... There must have been about 100 women's shoes. Half of the main room was also women's shirts only. More space was then dedicated to jackets, costs, tips, belts, scarves, bags and even wedding dresses. Books galore, DVDs, CDs, even Vhs. Vinyl. A back wall houses the house hold items. Everything from dinner sets to decorations. Then there were buckets of bits. For example, one bucket contained button sets (the ones you'd buy at the supermarket). Jewellery as well. I got op shop fatigue in there. Prices were extremely good. I picked up two fashion dresses for $8 a piece.

To my utter surprise every rack had something or the other that was worth having a second look. Although the prices are a little bit on the higher side, but I guess you don't mind paying that little extra sometimes if you are really wowed by something in the first look. It's a good collection of clothes- dresses, skirts, pants through to every other accessory like hats, jewellery, bags and shoes. One could get a complete wardrobe here . It definitely is up there in terms of style and fashion.
