Do not move here. I recently just moved out in September 2024 after living there since October 2023. We had MOLD in our house that just got "treated" in JUNE 2024. They said they'd come back after it was treated because it still looked like it was on the living room ceiling, and they came back LATE AUGUST 2024 right before we moved out. I didn't even get the results for the mold and I've been calling and asking for MONTHS now. I didn't bother pressing because I was about to move. I also had to get a new AC unit after months of complaining how hot it always was in the apartment. Getting a new AC unit and only using it for 2 out of 12 months is insane for the price we were paying... When we were first going to move in, the original apartment we were assigned to had ROACHES, so we were moved to another unit. The dishwasher in our apartment was apparently new but has not been working since I moved in. I had maintenance come in around June 2024 and he had the audacity to turn the dishwasher on and tell me that it's working, as if I don't know how to use a dishwasher. He said he would let it run, and come back. HE NEVER CAME BACK. The problem was that the dishwasher was running and not washing any of the dishes, I told him this and was ignored. The dishwasher still did not work even when I moved out. So for nearly a year I tried to get this dishwasher fixed and no one came. Luckily I grew up washing dishes by hand in the sink, so it didn't bother me as much... but it would have been a nice feature to use considering I was paying over 2k a month for the place. The sink in the kitchen was constantly clogging. When I moved in there was a washcloth that I FOUND lodged INSIDE of the garbage dispenser, and I have a photo of it. How they failed to remove and fix that before getting new tenants in is beyond me. I waited 2 weeks once for someone to come fix our clogged sink, still no one came... I had to do my dishes in the bathtub with my sciatic pain. This happened at least 3-4 times within 10 months. Not counting the other times I manually fixed the sink myself. The worst part of it is maintenance is always riding around on their golf carts. SO why does it take 2 weeks to fix a sink and nearly a year to not fix a dishwasher? Very inconsistent property. I've never encountered this kind of service before and I moved ever 1-3 years my entire life. Save your money and move to a place that actually cares about their tenants quality of living. read more

THE WORST PLACE I have ever lived! I'm so glad we finally moved out after a year. The place is dirty and disgusting, there is constantly trash everywhere all day every day! Management and maintenance DO NOT CARE about helping with anything! They tried to give us a disgusting, dirty, rundown apartment and we had to argue with them for a different one. at that point, we should have left the contract in retrospect. But when in need. We have for the past week been trying to get our security deposit back and our move out renter papers with zero luck. Which is not a surprise! This is literally the worst place! There are many places for similar or the same rent, keep searching just don't lock yourself into a contract with these people! It's not worth the hassle! Save your time, energy and money! read more

Do not move into this community unless you want to be miserable everyday! The apartments are very old. The paint jobs inside the apartments are horrible. The fixtures are old and they want a ridiculous amount of money for the rent. Definitely not worth the price they're asking for. The gates barely ever work and when they do work they're immediately broken because people choose to drive through the exit gate instead of using the call box. I'm updating this review because I think they deserve it. They may have issues here and there but I think they've been nothing but amazing on what they can control. The service at blue isle is great and everyone is so kind. They keep up with maintaining the property (in my opinion at least) and I've had nothing but a great experience living here. I will be moving since we deciding to purchase a house however I'd recommend blue isle to anyone. I think their prices are more than fair considering I've seen much higher. The crime around the area is somewhat worrisome to me but I've always felt safe within my community read more

If you have dogs do not live here. The property is not taken care of at all and no one picks up after their dogs. My two dogs have been sick at least 6 times within the year we have lived here. When I complain to the front office all they say is if they don't know who it is, all they can do is send out a letter reminded residents to pick up after their pets which obviously changes nothing. Do yourself a favor and your dog a favor and don't live here. read more

STAY AWAY. I've been here for almost 4 years with no issue until new management came along in October 2022. Old management was always reasonable to deal with as well as their maintenance always being cordial and quick with their repairs. New management comes in, immediately changing my monthly payments as far as water/sewage which was a flat rate before with no notice. They make the mistake of not adding valet trash for a few months then decide to add it to my current bill, which wouldn't be an issue if they would've given you a clear break down of that. So coming back from vacation I plan on speaking to the office the next morning regarding the extra charges. One being a mistake and telling me they will credit that back, fine. Being the holidays and all, the office was closed till the 3rd, which happened to be the night that I come back from vacation, with the thought in mind that the next morning I can reasonably discuss these charges and pay my rent without the late fee that hasnt even been applied yet (besides the fact that I've always made my payments on time). So soon after discussing said charges, they tell me I will still have to pay the late fee and that it is not waivable even though it hasn't even been applied. I know it is possible because the last management accidentally charged the late fee one month, I discussed it with them and they were happy to remove it with no issue. On top of the people in the office that have no clue what they're doing, they start roofing on the units which is of course great, until you decide to walk your dog and come out to a slew of nails at your front door injuring your dog, then leaving to work to also run over another nail and end up with a flat tire. I have maintenance requests that are months old that have not been responded too. New management has no consideration for their residents, as I was trying to discuss these charges further the lady told me to "wait one minute" which ended up being 20 minutes of her dealing with other residents before she got back to me and told me to "wait another minute, I'm trying to tell you we won't waive the fee but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and talk to the manager" which then she comes out immediately telling me there is nothing she can do for me. An hour long ordeal just to be told I'll be paying close to $200 more dollars this month because of their now new "prorated water/sewage charge" which we never got notified for, their "'mistake with the valet trash" and "their late fees that they cannot waive" even though I couldn't even speak to anyone until the final day before payment was due. They've substantially raised prices on everything with absolutely no improvement to what it was a year ago, a completely horrible start to the new year with this management. I was previously planning to renew but with the way things are going I will definitely not be staying here. read more

I don't recommend moving here. I've been living here for almost 4yrs and we recently got new management and ever since it's just been terrible. The carpet in the closet was soaking wet, water was leaking from behind the wall and I had to request maintenance 3 times and go up to the office before they finally fixed it. Mold was growing on the carpet by that time. I put in a request for our dryer that has been making a screeching sound, no one came to check it out. The dryer now doesn't even heat up so we will see if they ever fix it or replace it. The card to access the gym and pool doesn't work and we were told they can't fix it. So we are paying for amenities that we can't even use. Whenever I call the office they rarely answer, I have to physically go up there to voice my concerns. They raised our rent by $400 and they're so concerned with making upgrades on the outside to get new people to move in but they don't even take care of the people that actually live here. read more

I've been here now two years. They are way too expensive for the quality they deliver. Toilet still doesn't work properly. bathroom sink doesn't drain... tubs have a bad glaze job which wasn't visible at first until water hit the cheap product and made it look even more disgusting.. and still no re-glazing or a new tub! Kitchen cabinets are cheaply installed. Holes throughout the complex further damaging my tires. Can't walk out my door when it's raining from a massive waterfall caused by the gutters not being drained after asking them to drain them only 3 times. They have a problem with listening! Asked them more than 3 times to not enter my apartment unless I have been made aware of for whatever reason. And they still just come in without my knowledge. Can't give me a courtesy call.. not like the apartment is flooding. They just invaded my privacy and this is why I pay you all this money!!?? Not to mention the kids park is so dingy .. no new mulch since before me. You can now see the black top and that's coming off too! I am a mother of two who takes frequent walks in strollers and let me tell you how they set up a whole new gate for the cars but do not have a proper gate for "walkers". I have to wait for a car to enter or leave in order for the gate to let me out. What a hassle this is and unsafe. Don't even bother. save yourself the trouble folks and most importantly save your money!! read more

Due to covid 19 me and my fiancé lost our jobs and have no income and we are expecting a baby on the way. We have no money right now Because we lost our jobs and they told us if we don't pay they will be evicting us. The lady at the front who told us this said she's going through a rough time to but there is nothing she can do because it's the company not her asking for the money. This is a pandemic and everyone is loosing there jobs and all she kept asking is when can I pay the rent. This place is a joke and there is no faith in humanity all they want is your money EVEN THO THE WHOLE WORLD IS GOING THROUGH THIS HARDSHIP!!!! this place is a joke. My husband and I have been renting @Blue Isle Apartment Homes since 2015. We are extremely happy here. The staff is phenomenal, always pleasant & very helpful. Maintenance is on point, aleays very responsive. The community is well kept, there's a beautiful pool, a covered BBQ area with a sink a gym & play area for the kids. Theyre also pet friendly here! Blue Isle is one of THE best places to rent from, hands down! We're VERY happy to call ot HOME. read more

Through phone or email, it was difficult to contact someone at the office.This could be due to the numerous people inquiring about apartments. The rental process was relatively easy. Rent is reasonable for the area. Very nice apartments and neighborhood. Kitchen, bedroom, closets, and patio are a good size. Tiny washer/dryer replaced with extra large - can't complain. Nice gym and pool area with BBQ. read more
