The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, with the most amazing pillows. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection ranging from biscuits and gravy to waffles. But the real plus is their staff. Everyone here was so wonderful and helpful, even offering to drive us to local stores if we needed something. We stayed originally for 3 nights and had to extend twice, for a total of 5 nights. And everyone was so nice and friendly, and so understanding. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel has been restored to what it was like around the 1920's but with full upgrades including fire sprinklers, air conditioning, etc. Our room was a bit on the small side (1920'ish) but was quite comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. The was a complimentary breakfast in the morning that consisted mostly of local bakery projects, meats and cheeses. If you looking for modern amenities or a full HOT breakfast, you should stick with the major hotel chains. BUT, if you're into history and histrorical restorations, this place can't be beat. I suppose it didn't help the hotel that the gas station, convenience store, and pizza place next store have all shut down. Our group usually consists of 2-6 guys. Some of our wives flew out to join us, one year. Motel has always been clean, very accommodating and reasonable. Current owners, Lisa and Jared have done some updates and re-arranged the room configuration in at least one room. They have been nothing less than outstanding during our time there. Biggest draw back was the closure of the Post Rock Café which made things so convenient. There are limited eating establishments in Lincoln. Always look forward to a return visit.
