Transferring his rabies…read morerecord from another state had been such a frustrating process, and after a few disappointing experiences elsewhere, a kind lady recommended Bell Animal Hospital to me, and I'm so glad she did! As soon as I walked in, the staff helped me right away. Even though there was a short wait (which is totally understandable), it was absolutely worth the 15-30 minute drive. Morty ended up needing another rabies shot, and I was nervous at first, but the doctor was so reassuring and explained everything clearly. They told me that if my pup had any kind of reaction, I could bring him back immediately, and they would take care of him. That gave me so much peace of mind. What surprised me most was the price; coming from Illinois, I expected it to be much higher. When they told me the cost upfront, I honestly thought I had misheard because it was so affordable. They repeated it, and I was shocked in the best way possible. The service, compassion, and value they provide are outstanding. I'm incredibly thankful for the care they gave to Morty and for how professional and kind everyone was. I couldn't recommend Bell Animal Hospital enough to anyone looking for an affordable, trustworthy, and caring place for their pets.

I have a right to get upset. UPDATE. Care Medical Center took my in my dog with kennel cough and gave meds for my other heeler at home. I moved my other dog to them too as Kimberly Pine and their sister Vet can not see my dog. Maybe next month? A real WTF moment.

Thx in advance and feel free to keep the above as part of my review. I was recommended to come here YEARS ago (1999). I had three cats (Prelude, Gismo and Nala) and they were all treated with compassion on each visit. Please note, I no longer have the first cat (an old friend took him) or third cat (in heaven), so the rest of this review is for Gismo only. I moved out-of-state back in 2010, therefore had to find a new vet for him (side note: flying Gismo was probably stressful). I've been to 5-6 vets out here (i.e. annual checkups, shots and once for Cali's crappy flea infestation/deworming treatments) and so far they've all been either rude, uncaring and/or aggressive. I know most people would say their pet is the best, but my baby Gismo IS the sweetest being one could ever meet (EVERYONE - including those who hate cats or even allergic to cats - love him)! So you can imagine how I felt when he's not getting the attention he is used to and deserves. Another side note: Gismo is currently sick at 15 years of age and I believe I finally found a comparable place to ACC so I'm thankful (hopefully he gets better asap). WHY DO I GIVE SUCH A HIGH/GOOD RATING? In November 2014, I decided to DRIVE 2,000+ miles back to IL (avoiding another plane ride for him since I know he actually likes car rides) so he could have a visit with my great vet in Rock Island, IL! That speaks volumes for this company and I want others there to understand how lucky you all are!!! I did not know they changed owners, nor did I read posts on here beforehand and during my visit NOTHING HAD CHANGED (I did not notice any difference from all the years I had been there). We are still working through treatment since she isn't constipated at all (which is what other vets suggested not even looking at a stool sample) but the employees here care and are doing everything they can to make my dog much more comfortable. In addition, they are reasonably priced so I am not going to break the bank getting my dog good, quality care.

Doctor was amazing too (I met two of the three). They knew exactly what to do, and are so sympathetic of what your going through too... They explain everything beforehand and priced reasonable too.
